Itinerary
This is where we start the walking tour at the top of Aliados.
We descend Aliados, Porto's largest avenue.
Known for its long queues, Livraria Lello is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The entrance is paid and the waiting time extensive so we do not enter this space.
Right next to the narrowest house in Porto, this church stands side by side with the Igreja dos Carmelitas.
Porto's university life is vibrant and we have plenty to share about urban legends, centenary cafes and strange rituals.
Commonly known as the Jardim da Cordoaria, this haunting garden is a special place to Porto's inhabitants.
The Portuguese Photography Centre is located in the former Porto prison and now houses a large part of the country's photographic heritage. We will not go inside it during our tour.
Nasoni's creation stands above everything else in the city and it's probably Porto's most photographed monument next to the bridge.
Located in the old jewish quarters, the Vitória viewpoint has one of the most beautiful views to the city.
One of Porto's most charismatic streets, Rua das Flores was once known for its jewellery shops.
One of the most beautiful train stations in the world.
The place where Porto begun to exist, at the top of Morro da Pena Ventosa, the cathedral holds many stories and anecdotes to share. We will not go inside the cathedral.
We will mention this beautiful bridge from afar when the opportunity comes.

The tour with Diogo was such a great experience! His cheerful energy and sense of humour alongside his clear explanations about the city's history and characteristics made the tour really interesting, and it was easy to follow him. He also shared a whole list of city's recommendations organised into sections!! One could easily notice his dedication to making the tour unforgetable for everyone. Highly recommend him!
Our tour was led by Diogo. I really enjoyed getting to know the history of Porto. The tour was perfect mix of information about the city and recommendations for further visits. I really enjoyed the way Diogo interacted with us. He made us feel welcome. He took the time to interact with each one of us. His way of telling about the history of Porto was very engaging and funny. I enjoyed listening to him and did not get bored for a second. I really recommend the tour to anyone who has just arrived in Porto since it gives you a good first look and orientation of the city. Diogo can also give you plenty recommendations about visits to other tourist attactions, bars, clubs, caffes… you name it, he’s got it! :))
Melissa is a great guide, highly recommended
A wonderful tour in the heart of the Porto old town, where the guide Gonzalo (aka Freddy Mercury) made us fly into a heart-taking history of Portugal and Porto. The way he told us, his empathy and liveliness made the tour a real pleasure, with shivers of emotions. I’ll leave Porto with something special in my memories and my heart. For sure I’ll never forget about Niccolò Nasoni 😃
Diogo was a great tour guide! He was personable and friendly! His tour was a great mix of history and current tips and tricks to Porto.
Our tour guide is Diogo. He was well prepared and knowledgeable, making the walking tour very pleasant. He also made his own website and shared the points of interests at the end of tour with the whole group of visitors. Very good value of our money👍👍👍
Best experience ever well guidance highly recommend
Diogo was our guide today. It was a pleasure to have him show us around Porto. He was very knowledgable without overloading us with facts, and has a great sense of humour. The tour was 2.5 hrs long, however it was very manageable as we stopped regularly in the shade, so that helped a lot. The full tour was only 3500 steps, so it wasn’t difficult at all. I manage the Tourism Department in Belfast Metropolitan College, training 25-40 tour guides per year. If we could get 25-40 Diogo clones, Belfast Tour Guiding would be the best in the world. Thank you Diogo, we had a ball! Lorraine and Colm
María Gala is very professional and we enjoyed our tour, always making sure that you were comfortable and giving us good recommendations.
It does not get tedious. We took the tour with Melina who was super friendly and dynamic. You can tell she likes the city and her job! Recommended!
