Painfully slow tour. Guide walked slowly, stopped far too much, showed too many photos on her iPad and the whole tour just dragged by. Not what I was expecting.
Felt like a history class. Half the group left early. It wasn’t bad just not great.
We had a great tour guide. She was informative, honest about what was known and not known, and very welcoming. We started with an overview that helped everyone feel oriented to the walk, and at each stop had time for questions. I really appreciated that the tour was focused on the victims and the case facts, and didn’t try to be spooky or overly dramatic. It was cool to see a mix of Whitechapel’s current sections, and marry it to the town we know from the stories. Excellent way to spend a couple hours.
This tour was so fun! Julia was amazing and shared a ton of interesting information! Would absolutely recommend.
This was my favourite tour in London. Riveting storytelling provided by a great guide (ironically named Jack), this was such a great way to reacquaint myself with what happened and learn new things along the way. Highly recommend
The tour was interesting. I found the area fascinating. Our guide Anna helped us to imagine how the east end looked and smelt at the end of the 19th centuary. She dealt with the brutality of the content in a humerous and palatable way, which was made possible by her expert knowledge of the subject. An enjoyable tour.
There are tons of these tours to choose from and I think most are very similar. Our guide made the tour interesting. She talked about the victims and gave some background on the Victorian times and living conditions which were also interesting
Super interesting information, great guide (Anna), and very short walks. Booked this tour with friends on a pre-med travel abroad from America and we all had a great time!
Very good tour. Our tour operator Andrew was great. Very good story teller. Enjoyed by our whole family.
Great tour - Arne (our guide) spoke perfect English, thank you! We enjoyed learning the truth regarding the women who were killed. It was a nice tour around the town. Also appreciated how we were given the option to look away if the photos were too graphic. Very tastefully done.
