Nice way to spend an evening in Rome. Learn some history of the city as well as its food. The host was very knowledgeable and evenly paced as we walked the streets.
Bring your walking shoes. Tour is about 3 hours and 3.5 miles. Wear comfortable clothes because you will be enjoying six different courses, wine and beer. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about Italian culture, history, and food. Learned a lot, ate alot, and enjoyed our fellow tour partners. Well worth the cost.
Fab led us through the streets of Rome and brought History to life. She really explained life in the Jewish Ghetto. Onwards through different squares she stopped to point out ruins, fountains and their significance as enjoyed wonderful food along the way. Highly recommend!
Our guide Fabizia was wonderful. She was able to relate to the members of the group rather than just work through a script. The history was interesting and supplemented with photos that added to the understanding of what used to be along with what was still standing. The food and drink were wonderful and there was plenty of it. It was better than what we experienced on another tour we took a few days before. Even though my wife and I had seen some of the sights on our own earlier in the day, we gained a bit of knowledge that added to our time in Rome. Our guide took the time to forward us diagrams and photos that she shared with us during the tour and was helpful with recommendations for other items we had yet to enjoy during our remaining time in Rome. Highly recommend this tour. It was an evening of conversation, history, wonderful food and drink, and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Fabrizia for making this such a wonderful experience.
Fabrizia was very knowledgeable about the food and history of Rome. The food at every restaurant was fantastic. Fabrizia is a fantastic tour guide, always smiling and made the whole tour very fun!
Great informational tour on Roman food culture and history. The food was amazing. I’d definitely recommend.
Fabrizia was a wonderful tour guide. We loved to hear and see the historic Jewish ghetto and the Jewish artichokes were amazing. The walking was around was highlighted with the sunset. The restaurant where had traditional Italian pasta was amazing in addition to the basement of a 16th century old theater where we sat and enjoyed each stories of why we’re visiting Rome. Eating Pizza at Campo de’ Fiori was my favorite part. Again Fabrizia was an excellent guide and so knowledgeable in the rich history of Rome.
Fabrizia was great! She took the time to get to know us and gave us some history of the area. The appetizers were amazing. Pasta was good but a little salty. Some of the pizza was good. Tiramisu and gelato were good.
Best tour we have done so far in Rome. Food was delicious, and we loved the history lessons, especially in the Jewish ghetto area. Matteo was excellent. Great value. Highly recommend.
Our tour guide Maria was amazing. She was truly taking care of us. It was a great way to sample food and we also enjoyed the tour sites.
