Very good tour!

We stopped by at the St. Joseph Plantation to do a tour on May 30th, and we were the only ones there. Greg S was our tour guide and he was interesting, informative and very personable. Best tour we have had because we were able to take our time and ask questions. Very good tour and worth stopping here to take it.

Great guide and great tour

Local gal Sylvia gave us a thoughtful and informative narration about the history as she knows it firsthand. Splendid. My wife and I were Sylvia’s only guests at that time so felt we got a nicely personalized version maybe the adult version. She is a delight. We learned enough to write a short book. Thanks Sylvia. Great guide makes a great tour

High quality guides make it a highlight

Even late in the day that we toured, Robt Pew narrated our tour with great ease and an obvious vast knowledge of everything important in the plantation. We much appreciated being there with Robert; we had him all to ourselves - great. We’ve toured 50 mansions or way more and it is the quality of the guide that carries you to a memorable experience every time. Thank you Robert.

Great experienced!

I went with a family who visited us from Los Angeles to explore St. Joseph and Felicity Plantations, and we had a great time. Our tour guide Robert P. is very knowledgeable and we learned many things about sugarcane plantation, history of the family who owned the plantation and the tour is worth it!

Fun, informative and personal tour

We had the tour at St. Joseph with Robert and Felicity with Jamie. The guides were very enthusiastic Both tours were very informative and we learned a lot from the family, the houses and the sugarcane plantation. Too bad there was not much to see of the cottages and the lives of the slaves. Nor was much told about it. We found the tours personal and we like that. It wasn't grand and touristy.

Very knowledgeable tour...

Very knowledgeable tour guide, friendly and answered all our questions. Loved the combo tour, as we were easily able to see two different styles of plantations in a couple hours total. Learned that these two plantations and Oak Alley are all connected by the same family, which was interesting to learn!!

Nice no-rush tour.

Lots of history and very interesting. Mike took his time touring us through the premises. We were the only guests so it was a private tour. He is a local and knows the area well. We enjoyed this!

Do not skip over St Joseph and Felicity

We planned a last minute trip to see the plantation. We booked all 4 tours, Laura, oak alley, St Joseph and Felicity. The St Joseph & Felicity was by far our favorite ones. Sharon and Jamie we so friendly and knowledgeable and if they were clear on the things they did not know by saying “it’s possible or we believe” this tour was more hands on and one on one.
