Take the road less travelled! Your Sky to Sea Juneau Bike Adventure offers a break from Juneau's busy downtown bustle and an opportunity to visit a part of Juneau that not many get to see. During the bike ride, you'll make several stops that allow you to experience the serenity of the Tongass National Rainforest, surrounded only by trees, gentle streams, and your small tour group.

Itinerary
Your tour will begin at Eaglecrest Ski Area, which sits at an elevation of about 1200 ft. Here, you'll enjoy the scenic region while gearing up for your bike ride.
On your ride, you'll coast down to sea level, surrounded by the Tongass National Rainforest. Make stops in Alaska's quiet muskeg, seeing the unique ecosystem of a bog, and old growth rainforest, peering up at tall Sitka spruces and Western hemlocks. Breathe in the clean air and walk through the scenic woods, learning about the flora that surrounds you.
At sea level, stop and visit Fish Creek, a salmon spawning stream. Learn about the life cycle of a salmon from tour guide, and look out for nearby eagles. During spawning season, watch salmon swim.
End your ride at False Outer Point, a beautiful lookout. Enjoy ocean views and look out for sea life while your tour guides load up the bikes.
