Our expert captains and naturalists are so familiar with these amazing creatures that we can actually guarantee you will see whales in their natural habitat from a safe distance. Our state of the art boats are equipped with restrooms and heated cabins to make this journey extra comfortable. Our fleet of fast jet boats all have plenty of outdoor deck space so you can choose to watch the wildlife in the open air or from the comfort of the cabin. Please meet your tour representative 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time underneath the tent on the wooden dock that is on the water-side of the large red Mt Robert's Tramway building (building that houses the gondola that goes up the mountain) at the main Cruise Ship Terminal. The address is 490 S Franklin St, Juneau, AK 99801 and the pickup location is on the ocean-side of the building. Your Alaska Tales Tour Representative will be holding a sign that will read, "Alaska Tales". If you have any trouble finding this person, please call us.

I had a “WHALE OF A TIME” on my excursion! Saw lots of whales & other marine life! Well organized and the staff were very informative and friendly. GOD BLESS 🇺🇸
Amazing trip! We saw so many whales and even saw a pod of them! Ashley and Nate did an awesome job tell us which whales we were seeing and where to look. Captain James was also great an angling the boat for us to see the whales. Highly recommend this trip!!
The tour was very informative, and terrific. The boat was clean and aesthetically good to look at. The guide Ash was well informed, kept everyone engaged and had a great personality. I would recommend this company to everyone.
The most surreal experience ever! They aren’t lying when they say they will 100% show you whales! It was so beautiful and the naturalist Ash was amazing! Also James and Nate were amazing at steering the boat to the right directions to get amazing views of the whales!
