Omg omg omg what started ss a fluke of of a turned out to be amazing. Great staff Mami was very enjoyable and knowledgeable about history.
We had an amazing experience at the Samurai Ninja Museum Kyoto and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto. The museum was interactive, informative, and incredibly fun from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, enthusiastic, and made the experience enjoyable for both adults and children. We loved learning about the history of the samurai and ninja culture, and the hands-on activities made it much more engaging than a typical museum visit.
It was a brilliant tour. We got to touch real samurai swords and guns and even got the chance to throw ninja stars. The museum is really cool. It has lots of samurai armour and weapons. The guide spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this to anyone that comes to kytoto.
I was worried that the tour would be more entertainment - rather than a real examination of actual history and culture. I was pleasantly surprised by what the tour offered and the staffs knowledge of what they were talking about
Very pleased with the tour. We didn’t book tickets in advance.
I just booked the basic experience as we have a 4 year old so I wasnt too sure of attention span if we did anything more. However the basic was more than I expected it came with a lovely informative tour guide, she spoke great English and also was a very funny guide. There was also an opportunity to throw stars at targets with a group competition so much fun, my 4 year old loved it. Way more than I was expecting just for an entry ticket ! Fab place well worth a visit.
This was an excellent program for young children. A universal studios for young ones. As an adult would have hoped for more, such as more detailed history of the ninjas and samurai, as well as fighting techniques. Maybe a more advanced adult tour would have been more interesting, as i said for children would be excellent
Dear guest, Thank you very much for visiting SAMURAI MUSEUM. We are glad to hear that the experience was enjoyable for young children. At the same time, we are sorry that, as an adult guest, you were hoping for more detailed history and more advanced content about samurai, ninja, and fighting techniques. We appreciate your feedback and will share your comments with our team for future improvement. Best regards, SAMURAI MUSEUM
The best experience with our guide TAO
This was a great experience but be sure to book a ninja or samurai experience. Our 4 year old was able to enjoy it as well. Museum is really cool with samurai armors, weapons and very informative. Afterward, we go for ninja experience which was real fun. We dress as ninjas and throw shurikens, fire blowguns and have sword fights.
Hrai? was a great tour guide, informative and told us lots ofvinteresting information. Vibrant personality and great with the kids. A fabulous experience
