Donato made the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's fun and engaging for our whole family, from 8yo to 14yo to 70yos. Great enthusiasm and very knowledgeable. I want him to give us tours of everything! Highly recommended!

I cannot imagine attempting to tour the Vatican without our amazing guide, Sara. The Vatican was busy and a bit overwhelming, but Sara knew exactly how to make the most of our visit. Of course she knew the museum and the history, but she also knew what to say to keep the kids engaged. The Vatican is dynamic and tour routes can change moment-to-moment based on what’s happening that day. In the midst of lines and crowds, pausing for Papal guests to arrive, and being rerouted several times on the tour, she created a personal experience for our family. Most importantly, she understood children. She handled their challenging questions beautifully, she included their interests in the tour and in a most impressive moment, she navigated a sea of people and guards to get my child to the bathroom. We would have been lost without her! Grazie, Sara!
We had the pleasure of having Martina guide our children through the tour of the Vatican. She was patient, informative and very knowledgeable. Martina was passionate about the Vatican and the history it provided. Even the parents learned a great deal of history. She kept the kids engaged and we did not ever feel rushed. We loved Martina and would definitely book this tour again and recommend to our family and friends.
We couldn't have fully enjoyed the Vatican Museum without our Pinocchio Tour guide. The lines and crowds are so hectic and our guide created an oasis of calm and fun within the museum. She was incredibly knowledgeable and got my kids engaged throughout the experience. We would have loved to stay all day with her!
We just had three private tours, Colosseum, Vatican City and Pompeii, with three different guides, Guilia, Valeria and Lello, in two days. If your group have kids and your schedule and budget allow, take these tours. It is far better than other tours I took in the past. The first was Colosseum in the morning and then Vatican City in the afternoon. Next day we went to Pompeii. Our two teen daughters loved every tour due to professional, excellent, and appropriately funny guides. Each one had unique style but they were all excellent in providing detailed information while maintaining kids' attention by offering game and quizzes and so on. We had rainy morning during Colosseum tour but not waiting in line and following expert's shortcuts made the whole trip a breeze. Vatican city was packed with tourists but again it was so easy when our guide was allowed and exception was made to take us through shortcut and behind the rope passage to save us unnecessary in line waiting time. Pompeii trip was also extremely pleasant and hassle free. Even though it wasn't my first visit, I learned so much and Lello made it excellent learning experience for the whole family. What made these trip different was our daughters were able to maintain their interests and learned so much. Our daughters were tired with jetlag. They had different level and areas of interests but all three guides did excellent jobs until the very end. They tried very hard for kids to stay focused and not to miss anything. If we revisit Rome, we would definitely take Pinocchio tour again!
Such an amazing experience!! The guide was fantastic at keeping the kids engaged, explaining the history in a fun and simple way without ever losing their attention. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Vatican with their children !!
Tour was outstanding. Booked specifically for my kids to enjoy, and they were thoroughly enraged the whole time (ages 12.9 and 4). Great combo of learning and fun and everything in between. It’s hard doing tours with young kids because they can lose attention quickly and get distracted or lose interest. Quote the opposite here. Best of all, I enjoyed as much as the kids because I learned so much myself! It’s not an inexpensive tour because it’s a private tour, but it was money well spent.
Alessandra was an absolutely wonderful guide and a delight to learn from! She was engaging with the children and very patient. Communication with this tour group was wonderful as well. Highly recommended!
Had a fantastic tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with Bruno who is a native of Rome. Bruno is very personable and kept my kids (10,12 and 14 years old) engaged throughout the entire tour. Bruno is very experienced and knowledgeable and really made the tour interesting for the whole family. Communication with the company was very smooth with email and WhatsApp. I would recommend Pinocchio Tours and Bruno without reservation!
