This was such an insightful experience! You don't only get to simply taste the food and drinks, but you also learn the historical significance and and the story behind it. So relaxing and immersive :)
Thank you for your insightful review. Hope Korean Foods are always in your daily life.
One less star because direction on where to meet was not very clear. For someone who is not familiar with the area, the meeting place was a little difficult to find. It’s a good thing we left early. The good part, YG, our tour guide was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. He speaks very good english as well. Getting to see a brew master was very cool and our dinner was delicious. YG is a great start on our 1st day of our tour!
Thank you for sharing your experience. So glad that you had good time with YG.
We (a couple) had an awesome experience, even with just two people. Our guide,Veronica, was very knowledgeable, funny and kind. The masterbrewer was similarly cool and served us delicious traditional rice wine. The food at the end is incredible and not to be missed. Great to eat food from a different part of Korea. Highly recommend!
Thank you for your review. So glad that you had good time with me. Hope you have wonderful food experiences in Busan and Japan. Thanks. Veronica
This tour was an absolutely incredible experience. Veronica was the most perfect guide who taught us so much about Seoul's history and Korean culture. My partner and I are both Koreaboos and having such a personalised, casual but respectful experience was truly a joy. The traditional alcohols and the stories that accompanied the tastings was just so special and the dinner afterwards was sumptuous and such a wonderful time. Veronica was extremely respectful of my accessibility needs and checked in with me in such an empathetic, caring way. It was GREATLY appreciated and I am so sorry this review has taken so long to post! Will definitely be booking with Veronica the next time we are in Seoul!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with other travelers. I too remember the happy night with you and your partner. If we meet again, let's make traditional Korean liquor 'Makgeolli' with me next time. I hope Korean food will always be a part of your daily life. ‘Happy New Year 2024’
What a cool way to learn about magkeolli. Veronica and Ms. Kwan were both extremely knowledgable and willing to share. The tasting was a very nice experience and the food afterwards was excellent. Thank you!

We booked this tour as a private tour for the 5 of us. We were pleasantly surprised that the soju brewers place was in the Bukchon Hanok Village. Such a lovely, peaceful area to walk around in the evening. Our guide, Veronica, was friendly and knowledgeable. The dinner afterwards was delightful.

It was very fascinating to learn about how each traditional alcohol is made and we enjoyed our trip to the brew master’s workshop. The dinner was very interesting, and although it wasn’t really our taste, it was still interesting to try the traditional seafood dishes.
