If you are in Korea, you should check out the DMZ. It is an interesting part of Korean history of a flash point in our world. Our guide (Eddie) was excellent and the Korean defector was interesting. 7.8/10
Eddie was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the history come alive with interesting stories and insights. He explained everything clearly, answered questions patiently, and kept the tour well organized. The tunnel experience was excellent and one of the highlights of the tour. The local food recommendation was also a great idea and added to the overall experience. Visiting the DMZ was fascinating, and Eddie’s expertise made it even more memorable. Highly recommended.
My partner and I had the honor to have Richard as our private guide for the day & Richard is highly recommended. He’s very knowledgeable of the history of the DMZ & he’s an overall great person. As I being prior military we shared so many stories & common interest. Richard is highly recommended as your private guide. Thank you again my friend
Wowie! What an experience! 6 and a half hours has never felt so fast yet chock-a-block with insightful information. The cherry on the cake was our amazingly awesome tour guide, Eddie. Involving us, interesting us, challenging us, Eddie successfully managed to engage with us young students. He shared such interesting details which truly expanded our horizons, whilst keeping the atmosphere lively and light. He made this tour feel like it was tailored to us, while simultaneously entertaining our parents and other guests on the tour. Not to mention the exquisite food that not only allowed us to enjoy local Korean food but to also take an interest in the intriguing Korean culture. Eddie was perfectly accustomed to our every need; stopping for pictures, toilet breaks, and of course the superb food. Thank you Eddie and all involved for this tour of a lifetime. We will certainly be back!
Eddie is very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and helpful. He explained the itinerary on pick up, then talked facts about both North and South Korea, He did like audience participation but he made it fun and interesting. It is a big day so be ready for lots of information and walking around. Take water, umbrella and camera.
This tour was the most informative tours I’ve ever been on. Our guide was a wealth of information. I was very happy that he provided so much information, not only at the DMZ, on the bus coming and going as well. I left wanting to share my experience and what I learned with my family and friends.
What an incredible, moving experience with our exceptional guide, Eddie. He was more than thoughtful about every aspect and shared his deep personal knowledge and experience with intention and graciousness. Absolutely worth every penny and more. The local Korean restaurant was delicious and being in the same room with one of the defectors was quite something. I absolutely cannot recommend Eddie enough, he’s an amazing guide and person.
