Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca Private Tour From Lisbon

Description
Enjoy a customizable itinerary and visit the city's various monuments and its beautiful views and coastlines. Be picked up from your hotel in central Lisbon and travel in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. Pass through extraordinary places such as the historic Palácio da Pena and Quinta da Regaleira. Sintra is also home to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Continental Portugal and, consequently, Continental Europe. This place was mentioned by Luís de Camões in his literary work "Os Lusíadas", where he described it as the place "Where the land ends and the sea begins", due to the fact that, before the Age of Discoveries, the sea was practically unexplored and this place is considered the end of the world. Visit a traditional restaurant, recommended by your guide/driver, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterward, visit Cascais and discover its beaches with white sand and crystal clear waters. After the tour, your driver will take you back to your hotel.

Our host on the tour did an excellent job chauffeuring us to Sintra, Cascais and Cabo Da Roca. He was very sensitive to my husband's mobility challenges, and went out of his way to make sure we got as close to the sites as possible. He was adaptable - when the road to the coast was closed due to construction, he reacted quickly and calmly to avoid the problem. He also recommended an excellent restaurant where we had a fabulous lunch. But the description of this tour in GetYourGuide is highly misleading. It's described as a "tour" by which I assumed it included entry tickets for the Palace as well as a fully guided experience. This was NOT the case. Our guide warned us the day before that tickets were not included, so I was able to order these separately. But more importantly - he dropped us at the entry gate to Palace and we were on our own.
Dear janael675, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that your host took such great care of you throughout the day — especially by adapting to mobility needs, navigating road closures calmly, and recommending a wonderful place for lunch. Your kind words about his support and flexibility mean a lot to our team. We’re also grateful for your feedback regarding the tour description. We understand how important clarity is when planning a visit to Sintra, and we’re sorry for any confusion caused by the information on the GetYourGuide listing. Entry tickets and guided visits inside the monuments are not included in this experience, and we appreciate you highlighting this so we can continue improving how this is communicated. Thank you again for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. We’re glad your day was enjoyable overall, and we hope to welcome you back to Portugal in the future. Meridian4People Team

Alex was a good driver, friendly , and professional. We arranged our ticket for Pena Palace and had ample time to explore. From there Alex took us for lunch to a local restaurant of his friend Pedro. Great food, locals’ restaurant, great atmosphere. We passed through a local market and then stopped in Sintra City Center to explore. Stops for pasteis in the way home topped a great customized tour day!
