This was a great tour. Drop off at the light shows was invaluable.
The tour starts with a boat tour which can of serves as an ‘Introduction’ to what is to come afterwards. Well managed , great tour guide Tang, kept the tour running smoothly and in time anticipating the clients needs.
The guide was attentive, but hard to hear and understand. The biggest problem is the description is misleading. Everyone was expecting a 4-hour sail. It turned out we had to get on and off buses and only has a 30 minute boat ride. We thought we were going to see the fountains from the water and didn’t. It was good value for what we did, but very disappointing.

Our listing clearly states a 40-minute Singapore River Cruise and specifies that both Garden Rhapsody and Spectra are viewed on land. Our tour photos also reflect these activities on land. At no point do we advertise a 4-hour cruise or viewing the light shows from the boat. The advertised 4-hour duration refers to the overall tour experience, including point-to-point transportation, sightseeing stops. Similarly, a 4-hour food tour does not mean guests spend 4 hours continuously eating, nor does a 4-hour city bus tour mean guests spend 4 hours continuously sitting on a bus. Bothe Viator and Omnicity tours customer service team are available to assist before booking, and we encourage guests to contact for clarification if they are unsure about any aspect of the tour rather than relying on assumptions that are not stated in the tour description. Nelson did a great job leading our tour. The river cruise gave a very nice overview of the city, layout, history and important landmarks. The light show at Garden and at Marina Bay were impressive. Nelson made an effort to learn our names, answered everyone’s questions and gave nice little details about the city and its history.
