We began the evening at Merlion Park, where we enjoyed a relaxed photo stop and even grabbed a Singapore Sling while taking in the beautiful waterfront views. It was the perfect way to ease into the night. From there, we headed to Satay Street at Lau Pa Sat for a tasting session. The satay was absolutely delicious — smoky, tender, and full of flavour. While we enjoyed the food, Ray shared interesting commentary about the history of Singapore, which added depth and context to the experience. Next, we made our way to Gardens by the Bay for the Garden Rhapsody light show. It was nice, though not the standout moment of the night. After that, we rushed off for a short walking tour through Clarke Quay, where Ray continued sharing insights into Singapore’s culture, including fun facts about durian and local food traditions. We then boarded the cruise, which was the highlight of the evening. The views of the Singapore skyline were stunning, and watching the Spectra Light & Water Show from the boat made it feel even more magical and immersive. At the end of the tour, we were given the option to be dropped off or stay at Lau Pa Sat. We chose to stay and enjoyed a late dinner, though after 9 PM many stalls had already closed, so the choices were limited — but still enjoyable. Overall, the tour was well‑organised, scenic, and enriched by Ray’s excellent commentary. His storytelling, humour, and knowledge made the experience truly memorable. A wonderful way to enjoy Singapore at night.

Yesterday, I joined an evening tour in Singapore, and it was an extensive and truly valuable experience. Our guide, Ray, made the tour even more special. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts and stories about Singapore throughout the evening. During the river cruise on the way to the light show at Clarke Quay, detailed information about Singapore’s history was shown on a screen onboard. Afterwards, we were able to enjoy a spectacular light show from the water, which was a unique and memorable experience. We also had the opportunity to taste some delicious satay, which was a wonderful addition to the tour. The light show at Gardens by the Bay was equally impressive and beautiful to watch. Ray was very well prepared and even had rain ponchos available for everyone in case it started to rain. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and care for the group made this tour unforgettable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Singapore.
