Let us explore together the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, a UNESCO site and one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. Ancient Herculaneum was buried during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and is a true place of memory: although less extensive than nearby Pompeii, unlike the latter it still bears most of its urban and civic structure. Houses, doors and bedrooms, workshops and objects of all kinds are still perfectly visible.
