Gastown is where Vancouver began, and this is the best way to eat your way through it. Your local guide knows every street and every kitchen worth knowing, taking you to the spots that don't need tourist signs to fill their tables. The food tells the story. A slow-roasted pork sandwich that's been in the oven since the night before. Scotch eggs served at a pub feeding this neighbourhood since 1910. A dessert bar that went from a farmers' market stall to eight BC locations. And a Secret Dish, revealed only on the day, that captures exactly what Vancouver tastes like. Between bites, your guide brings Gastown's past to life: the city's origins, the Great Fire of 1886, the rebuilding that followed, and the characters that still define the area today. The 10am tour includes a donut fried fresh daily since 1979 and a fermented veggie toast made entirely in-house. The 12pm and 4pm tours include a chicken taco and house-made artisan chocolate instead. Quality drinks included at select stops.

Mark was an amazing tour guide as we wandered through Pike Street Market sampling several vendors food. I can't even begin to tell you which one was the best as they were all delicious!
