Itinerary
No 2 tours are the same! Our goal each day is to showcase as much of the national park as possible during our time in the park. Routes and stops look different depending on the season.
Longmire, home to the original park headquarters & more recently, the National Park Inn, Longmire museum & Wilderness Information Center, is a popular stop on all tours. Opportunity for restrooms, short hikes & photos here.
Tours mid-April through mid-October stop here for guests to get a view of the top of the falls. When weather permits, some tours are able to hike to the lower falls for more photo opportunities!
Christine Falls is a 69-foot waterfall with 2 drops located on the road to Paradise. Tours will often stop here for photos of the lower falls including the bridge which helps frame a perfect waterfall photo! (Accessible seasonally)
Visitor Center - Have lunch at the restaurant, cafe, or bring your own sack lunch. Hiking opportunities available. Scenic views and wildlife. This is a popular stop on tours mid-April through mid-October.
While this is not a guaranteed stop, tours will try to stop here during peak season (July/August) for the postcard-worthy photo of Mt Rainier & it's reflection in the still lake. This is not always an accessible stop.
Some tours (not all) will visit Tipsoo Lake, a subalpine lake within Mt Rainier National Park
Drive through the picturesque mountain town of Elbe, WA en route to the national park
This is a popular stop on tours year round!

John was very knowledgeable about Mt. Rainier . He’s very entertaining; good sense of humor. He made the trip really exceptionally well worth it. Thank you for a most enjoyable experience!.
Fantastic day trip! John was a great guide and was able to get us to a bunch of great spots despite how busy 4th of July was at the park. The views were great and we were given plenty of opportunities to get food and go the restroom.
One of the best experiences in the snow. It was a slightly rainy day when we visited but it was all worth it. Beautiful views and you can climb/hike some parts too. We had booked through a travel agent and since we were 11 in our group we had the whole van to ourselves. Comfortable drive - a little far from the city. Would take the whole day - but it was a great trip.
We had a wonderful day trip. We were going on the 4th of July and we knew it would be busy - but we navigated the crowds easily and got to see Sunrise and do one of the trails, Narada falls, Reflection lake and a couple other scenic views of different side of the mountain. Our guide had tons of great information and was so helpful. Highly recommend.
John was our guide and he was very pleasant and personable. Knowledgable in directing us what to do and best places to go. He was very clear on meeting times and places. My husband and I were very pleased with the tour. We both think it was well worth the money we spent.
Unbelievable views, we were lucky we got to see Mt. Rainier briefly. Unable to see the whole tour but the view we got was stunning. Despite bad weather, the scenery was amazing. Long day, but so worth it.
Our guide DJ is amazing, pickup on schedule and did a great job getting the group engaged from the start. Shared some great stories during the long drive to the park while pointing out landmarks route. Handled the group very well even when we experienced heavier than expected traffic inside the park.
Our driver/guide-Andreas is wonderful, we have enjoyed the your very much and highly recommended the tour
Great tour. John provided excellent narration of sights along with historical context. He was knowledgeable about the sites we saw. Worth the time and money. The size of your was small and easier to get into small neighborhoods like Queen Ann hill and Fremont’s trolley under the bridge
The experience was great from start to finish! The pickup/drop off was super easy and quick. Our tour guide John was super friendly and knowledgeable and my Dad and I really enjoyed our time. The views were exceptional and John brought us to the most gorgeous spots. I highly recommend bringing warm clothes to wear and layering. This was a last minute excursion for us, so I unfortunately wasn’t prepared for the cold temperatures at the top of the mountain.
Thanks for joining us, Alyssa! The summer heat is just around the corner but the colder temps stuck around a little longer this June - we lovingly refer to this time of year as "Junuary" for that reason. Enjoy the rest of your stay!
