Scenic Horseback Ride, Wine Tasting & Lunch on Mt. Vesuvius

The horseback riding was good. My horse was excellent ( English rider) , but 2 others in the group had a bit of trouble with their horses ( western riding) . It was only a 50 minute trail ride in the vineyards but it was still nice. I got to ride in the ring a bit to trot and cantor my horse, which was nice of them to let me do. I was the only one in the group whom was doing the wine tasting and lunch. So , was brought to a vineyard where they were set up outside (tent covering the lunch area) but right in the vineyard. There were others there, but I had a table for 1. The setting was beautiful. The wine tasting ( 5 wines and a Cantelope Limoncello at the end). All tastings were excellent. The lunch was also good and they accommodated me being a vegetarian. Everything was yummie. A definite must do if you want something different than seeing the ruins.

wonderful! never ridden a horse in my life before this and our guides were very helpful in getting used to it/understanding it. wine tasting afterwards with Quirinoli winery was divine. transportation was organized very well. so happy!!

Amazing experience, our horse ride was cut short because of strong rain (approx 30 min ride) but it was beautiful non the less the instructor was funny and kind and offered us oranges grown on that land so much history and cool facts. We also did the lunch which was great our server was the best and the wine and food was great beautiful restaurant too! 10/10

This was the best day of our 5 day trip to Sorrento and Pompeii ! The riding was safe and pleasant even in 31 degrees , the transfer clean and efficient and the wine tasting with lunch was unforgettable x

This was so much fun! Even for beginners - I have been on a horse 3 times in my life, and I didn't have any difficulty following the instructions given by our guide. The landscape was beautiful - Vesuvius on one side, and the Bay of Naples on the other off in the distance. After the riding, we were driven to the wine tasting and lunch. The wine was delicious. The food was fantastic. The Limoncello and Meloncello were amazing. I would highly recommend this excursion!

A fabulous trip and great people. Was well taken care of all the way. The horses calm and safe, the food good and the wine tasted excellent. Do it more than happy again.

It’s great that the plan Sofia was working for finally became a reality. Her ideas to put local treasures together are realized in the best way. I enjoyed the horse back riding in the beautiful landscape for the second time and wine tasting for the first. It made me proud that I brought my friend 😊. Her new team was excellent, too.

This was probably one of the best things I’ve gotten to do in Italy! It was my first time ever riding a horse, and Giuseppe was a really helpful instructor. The vineyards were amazing, and afterwards I was driven to the wine distillery. The wine was so good and I had an amazing view of the Gulf of Naples!

This experience was wonderful! We were picked up and whisked away to the horse riding centre. The horses were well looked after and very easy to ride. The ride through the vineyards was lovely, definitely suitable for people who haven’t ridden much before, perhaps a little too tame if you are an experienced rider. The wine tasting was at a different location and we were blown away by the whole thing. We had an amazing lunch - far more food than we expected and all delicious. About every 10 minutes we were given another very generous taster glass of another wine and they were very varied and delicious. This was a real highlight of our holiday.
