Settle into a spacious, air-conditioned van and enjoy the scenic ride south. When you arrive in Pompeii, start the experience with a freshly brewed coffee and a light Italian breakfast to ease into the day.
No need to navigate or rush. Your certified archaeologist will guide you through Pompeii’s highlights at a comfortable pace. Explore ancient villas, streets, bathhouses, and preserved ruins with stories that bring it all to life.
After the ruins, enjoy the fresh sea breeze as we cruise along the coastline. We'll pause at a few scenic spots so you can take in the views and capture great photos.
A reserved table awaits you at a seaside restaurant in Sorrento. Enjoy an authentic Italian lunch from the menu while soaking up the views and relaxed coastal atmosphere. Lunch is included.
On the return to Rome, enjoy a short photo stop to capture one last scenic moment before wrapping up your day of discovery and relaxation.

My family of 4 had a fantastic time on the tour. The vans that we drove in were very comfortable, the tour of Pompeii was excellent, and the meal in Sorrento was delicious. We also really enjoyed the knowledgeable tour guides and the other members of the group who were on tue tour with us. It was a perfect day and I highly recommend this excursion to anyone!

The tour was absolutely amazing!! The van was a very comfortable, well air-conditioned Mercedes. Our driver Numa was excellent and very knowledgeable. The tour of Pompeii was incredible and our guide Gratzia was incredibly knowledgeable and concerned about keeping us out of the sun. She was the best guide we had in Italy ( did a LOT of tours). The places they took us for food was excellent and the views in Sorento were beautiful. Highly recommended!

Booked using viator and had all day tour to Pompeii. Started in Rome and went to Pompeii. Our driver was Numa. We had 7 people (full van) and had great time talking to Numa on the drive down and back from Pompeii. The tour included breakfast (bakery in Pompeii) and lunch along coastline in Castellammare di Stabia.
