Pompeii was amazing. Love the history. Had a major delay with the train and missed our tour. The tour company was great to work with. Kept in contact and offered 2 options. To join another guided tour or self guide. They reissued us tickets and it worked out just fine with zero issues
Paola was a great tour guide! She was cheery and knew a lot about the city. We hit some major areas in the city, and that was nice. I’ve rated this tour four stars instead of five for a few reasons - The small group was 12 people, which was nice but is still enough where the tour is not personalized to what you’re interested in hearing about. We spent a long time walking from place to place which is great for people who have a harder time traveling over cobblestones but we would have liked to see more things! This tour was also more of an overview of the area and the history, and didn’t go into too much archeological depth or detail.
