We really wanted to like this tour, but it wasn’t what we signed up for. Edwin was nice enough, but he gave us more of a “general info about Rotterdam” tour than an architecture tour. There were several stops at statues and bars, for example, rather than just mentions of them as we walked past. We had to ask to get details about several buildings, like the year they were constructed. And then the answers were general (e.g., “About 10 years ago.”). Some of the info he gave us we knew was factually incorrect. We still got to see some amazing architecture, but we learned little more than if we had just walked past it on our own.
Cube houses and the enclosed market at the end were our favorites. The guide was informed, friendly, flexible, and customized the experience to our interests.
We really enjoyed our tour guide, Michaël. He was very informative, friendly, and knew Dutch history.
My guide was very knowledgeable and took me to many interesting sites. She knew so much about the history and culture of the city.
We expected an architecture tour led by an architect. We received a history and cultural tour led by a retired nurse. Sne was nice and very direct.
Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Susan. She was very knowledgeable and informative. A great tour guide that we whole heartedly recommend.
Foxy was very informative and kept the tour fun walking all around the important parts of Rotterdam.
The cubic houses but they were not really part of the tour... though it was in the paragraph announcing the tour. In the details of the tour they were not there anymore and this created misunderstanding between the guide and us. The guide had to cut the Eramus Brige to be able to do the tour in 2 hours. Please make some corrections to your announce. Louise
If you’re looking for a value packed experience with a tour guide who cares this is for you. Meetup was seamless and though we didn’t spend much time in Rotterdam, this tour gave a COMPLETE experience. More than just architecture, a full cultural experience. The tour is what you make it though! Ask questions because the tour guide is very invested in giving a positive experience!! Highly recommend!!!
seeing amazing architecture of modern rotterdam guide was very good and tailored to our particular interests and very knowledgeable of city history
