Your tour will start from Piazza Barberini, a 16th century square where you will find the famous Triton Fountain sculpted by Bernini.
The first stop will be in a location that has nothing less than the Trevi Fountain as main view. From the rooftop you will overview the world-famous fountain while savoring cured meat and cheese combined with wine.
After this gourmet dinner experience while you walk to your next stop we will pass by the Piazza Colonna and Piazza Minerva where you will be able to admire its beauty by night. The 3rd stop is an exclusive rooftop bar, right next to the majestic Pantheon. You won’t resist the charm of such a romantic view while you savor a delicious main course.
Our last stop has one of Rome’s most beautiful views as its backdrop, the Navona Square! The Baroque-style piazza is characterized by its 3 fountains by the sides and in the center of the square. While you admire the view you will indulge a classic gourmet dessert of Italian tradition, you can choose between a Sicilian style cannoli with almond ricotta cheese, raspberry ice-cream and orange sauce or Tiramisù, typical Italian dessert made with mascarpone cheese mousse, coffee sauce and cream ice cream. My husband and I have been to Rome a few times but with Ramona we discovered some new places and had THE best time!!!! And wow, what a sunset we were able to see!!!
OMG… Book this Rooftops of Rome food tour! The restaurants and food were FABULOUS, and our guide, Maria was the ABSOLUTE BEST! We’ve been to Rome many times, but Maria’s tour was an all-time highlight… she was so knowledgeable and engaging. We loved spending the evening with her… and as an added bonus, she gave us some great advice on our trip to Puglia the following week… don’t look any further… BOOK THIS FOOD TOUR…!
Thank you for the lovely words! Your opnion means a lot to us! All the best wishes!
when a new chef arrives in a restaurant, the scores should be calculated on average since his arrival...Not ON AVERAGE FOR YEARS AND HIGHLIGHT THIS IN THE COMMENTS
Dear user, this review has been left on the wrong page.
Maria was a fantastic guide. We experienced great information and food not to mention the views . Maria treated us so well and we learnt so much of the history of Rome from her Would recommend anyone do this tour
The tour was amazing. The guide was great and helpful. The food was amazing. We had a chance to see Rome in a different way. it was an wonderful evening.
We are usually quite happy about Viator private trips. We know Rome a bit I have expected this tour to be an extension of our culinary and sightseeing locations. The tour guide was a nice lady. But the choice of the first venue was the weak point of the tour. Relais Fontana Di Trevi rooftop bar is the extreme of touristic traps. A tiny, stinky place from which you sort of see Fontana di Trevi with very questionable food & drinks quality and prices way above 5 star hotels and Michelin restaurants (see photo). The other two place were much closer to the expectations, but still the value for money for 1000 USD+ /3 persons was not there. You can have a dinner at Bulgari hotel plus aperitivo at the La Terazza roof top bar for the same money. This was the worst yet price for value in any of Viator trips we took. But at the same time the prices in Rome our quite inflated.
Our private guide was great. She knew all about the area and sites. She was also very knowledgeable about the foods and culture we experienced. Highly recommend.
Our guide Andrea took us to some of the best rooftop views and greatest food in rome! One place was a Michelin star restaurant and had the best pasta of my life. His personality and knowledge of the restaurants and the city made this experience unforgettable for my wife and I !!
Great food and great views. They should explain where it starts and finishes though. It started in the piazza barberini, which was a mile from our hotel. Since it ended very near our hotel, it would have been good to know that.
Yes, it was expensive, but worth it. Guide was fantastic, established rapport and made us feel like we were visiting a friend. Our table overlooking Trevi fountain was the best in the restaurant. Our main course location was a bit too cold and windy to be outside, but we felt as though we were in a 5-star Michelin restaurant (not sure if we were or not). The dessert location also had amazing views.
