Itinerary
Among the many excellent Vatican Museums is the Museum of Vatican History. In 1973, Pope Paul established the Historical Museum for the first time. The collection was housed in a square garden below ground level. It wasn't until March 1991 that it was once more open to the public, being moved to the Lateran Apostolic Palace's main floor in 1987. Pope Julius II established the Vatican City Museums for the first time in 1503. From the private collections of affluent families, the museum's collection of artworks expanded to include public holdings from the future pope and subsequent popes. The Vatican Museum of History was founded as a result of the vast collection held by the Vatican Museums and the increasing demand for more structures to store the artwork.
The chapel's dimensions are around 35 meters (118 feet) by 14 meters (46 feet)[15], and its ceiling rises to a height of roughly 20 meters (66 feet) above the ground level. Like many other Italian churches from the Middle Ages and Renaissance, its exterior is devoid of any architectural or ornamental accents. It does not have an external facade or exterior processional doors because it has always been accessed through interior chambers of the Apostolic Palace, with the outside only visible through adjacent windows and light wells. The Cappella Maggiore has also been impacted by masonry subsidence and cracking, which has required the construction of enormous buttresses to support the outer walls. The chapel's external look has been further modified by the addition of other structures.

The entry tickets were great. We were on time and entry was flawless. The museum is extremely large so it takes a long time.
Booking and support (via WhatsApp) were great. Our window was brought forward at short notice, which suited us. Communication with the guide was good, prompt and extensive response. For all those who go to Maps to the entrance - not go the way inside the wall, but around the outside. We were wrong at first at the queue to St. Peter's Basilica. But thanks to the guide we found everything.
We booked for 1030 in the morning but when receiving our tickets the time on them was 11am. I queried this and was told it was due to something happening at the Vatican and that we could go along for 1040 and gain access. None of that information was accurate. There was plenty people gaining access at the time we originally booked, and you cannot get in before your ticket time as they take people in according to half and hour time slots. The staff didn’t tell us to line up in a particular place so when we headed back to where we were supposed to get in we ended up being at the end of a huge queue, so not skip the line tickets at all. This meant we didn’t actually get to start our experience until 11.15/20 which was 45 minutes after the time I had booked for, this was a day we were travelling home so our plans were very tightly scheduled. Inside will be up to you how much you enjoy it. I enjoyed seeing the grounds and beautiful gardens but a lot of the museums were over my head. The Sistine chapel itself is stunning but the journey to get there is long. Again you’re twisting through many museums and rooms with paintings, great if you have a high interest in art/history. I feel like it is a one and done type of thing. Great to have seen it but I won’t be doing it again.
The tour guide will not meet you at the meeting point, or reply to messages on the platform you need to message on WhatsApp, and do so in advance as our tickets were earlier than the time we selected. Otherwise all fine, and easy to follow the instructions.
Information for our tour said to meet the sales person/guide at the McDonalds near the Vatican at 3pm. The guide never showed. I called and he said the tickets were emailed to me The tickets were emailed but the time reserved was for 2:30. We did not arrive at the entrance until 3:15. The Staff finally let us in but it took some persuading. If you plan on self guided tour buy your tickets directly from Vatican and get them early. Don’t use this person as it is a rip off.
Dead Traveller, thanks for your comment. you need to arrive atleast 15 minutes earlier on the spot. But you came at exect time when our employee went inside Vatican with other tourists. Second we clear on the booking that we will send tickets earlier on whatsapp/email. we send you email because you did not have whatsapp. we send you tickets 3 hours earlier but you did not checked your email. Third we cleared that 2:30pm tickets are same as 3:00 pm. Both works same.
My family and I think it was a Great idea, we arrive make a really small line ,I do it again , saves a lot of Time
