Every corner had something fascinating, from tapestries to sculptures and paintings. Honestly, one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Italy.
Booking this ticket saved us from standing in the sun for hours—huge plus! You don’t realize how massive the museums are until you’re inside—there’s so much to see!
DONT GO THERE! totally overcrowded. To many people! You're packed in like sardines. Museum is overrated. And the Sistine chapel has no spirituality because you are surrounded by more than 400 smelling and sweating people which are already more than one hour’s walking side by side through the museum. I think McKinsey was advising the Pope/Vatikan here just to make fast money. Michelangelo would kill himself when he could see that result
The Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel are among the most visited attractions in the world, especially during peak season, and crowd levels are managed entirely by the Vatican authorities. Our service was provided as advertised, including the reserved entry arrangement and assistance. The number of visitors and the atmosphere inside the museums are unfortunately outside the control of any tour operator. Thank you for sharing your feedback.
Totally worth it for the convenience alone. The queues outside were insanely long, and we just walked right past them.Every room had something unique to offer.
We were so excited for this excursion that we booked it months ago to make sure we got to see The Vatican. The day of the excursion we get to the meeting location only to be told the excursion has been cancelled by the operator and that we “should’ve gotten an email.” We didn’t, and neither did the 15+ angry people who showed up too. When I asked the guide why, he said it was because their license to operate the tour inside The Vatican had not been renewed yet. Ridiculous and very unprofessional.
The information provided to you at the meeting point was incorrect. The cancellation was not related to any license issue. Due to temporary operational restrictions affecting Vatican access during that period, the activity could not operate as planned. Notification emails were sent in advance to affected customers, and refunds were processed accordingly.
Be warned! Don't book with this company. I was messaged a few days prior to coming if I could come a bit earlier than the alloted time due to high demand - fine not a problem I thought. Well I turn up at meeting point to be told our tickets had been cancelled and that we were informed by email 2 days ago!? Well there were about 20 others stood there who had had no information about it being cancelled whatsoever. The excuse from the so called "rep" said the Vatican had stopped partnership with them or something? Shambles of a company. Ruined a big part of our trip.
Your booking was already fully refunded. We also sent an email in advance informing about the Vatican closure and cancellation of the service.
If you hate waiting, this ticket is a must. It saved us at least 2 hours! The organization was impressive. Clear signs, helpful staff, and a very smooth flow despite the number of visitors.
The Vatican Museums are extraordinary. The guides were helpful but were late arriving to the meeting point and did not identify themselves. Had to ask who they were
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the Vatican Museums extraordinary and that our guides were helpful during the experience. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused at the meeting point. Our staff is always instructed to arrive on time and clearly identify themselves with visible signage. We will address this internally to ensure better coordination and clearer identification for all future guests. Your feedback is very important to us and helps us improve our service.
Fatal, I hired two tickets which one was canceled a day earlier, it was to see the coliseum and the other for the Vatican and after two hours of queuing we are told that it has closed and we cannot enter, so I have not seen both things that I wanted to see, I do not trust Viator again.
Sentimos mucho tu experiencia y entendemos completamente tu frustración.
Fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and just made the visit worthwhile! Would recommend this trip to anyone!
