Excellent communication and prompt! Picked us up right in front of hotel. Texted the night before and when he was 10 minutes away.
He was on time and greeted us, but not really the first class experience I expected He was in a hurry from the beginning and we practically had to run to keep up on the long trot to our car.. No conversation at all. We were not offered water. And it was hot. It was nice to have someone waiting for us and not have to navigate, but this was basically an expensive taxi ride. All Rome traffic is harrowing, so I won't say he was that much worse, but we took a breath of relief upon arrival at the hotel. Not what I expected.

Getting to the airport from Rome can be an unsettling trip, with both pedestrian and vehicular traffic factoring in on the time it takes to arrive at FCO. We booked a airport shuttle through Viator and could not be more pleased. Our driver, Francesco, texted us, alerting us of his impending arrival and again when he arrived at our hotel. Transportation was in an excellent, clean and comfortable vehicle "captained" by a driver than knew every shortcut and traffic avoidance route through Rome delivering us to the airport seamlessly and on time. There's no better way to insure a timely and safe arrival at Rome's airport than through Viator! Highly Recommend!

I confirmed by text in my TripAdvisor app multiple times over a six month period. I confirmed my flight number, my time of arrival, and my destination. The day of arrival they contacted me while I was still in Paris, awaiting my flight to Rome. They were confused why I wasn’t there already. They told me not to worry; they would have somebody there at the corrected (original) time. The person who picked us up took us five minutes from the airport and tried to drop us off ina shady looking part of town. Our actual destination was 50 minutes from the airport at a Marriott hotel. He showed us the bogus information he had been given and told us we’d have to pay another $97 euro. We had already paid $128 USD - for what he thought was a five minute ride!! At first he wanted us to get out or pay more, but we refused until he took us back to the airport. We had to request our money back via the TripAdvisor app. They say they will refund, but we haven’t seen a refund yet. My sister had a no -show at the same airport on the very same day from the very same vendor. She arrived two hours before we arrived. . I believe these guys are scam artists.
Our driver, Gabriel, was fabulous! He was right on time, dressed very nicely with a beautiful black Mercedes van to take us to FCO airport! He even gave us a Roma tour as we drove, which was special! We will miss Italy, but will come back again - and will defntiley be calling Viator to assist with our travels!
Our driver was very kind and made this transit experience easy. He communicated with us early so expectations were clear that we had to get our luggage and we didn’t have to worry that he would leave, he sent pictures of exactly where he would be and made exiting the airport easy and stress free. Exactly what we needed after a long flight. Very personable yet quiet.
The service did exactly what they said they would so I have to give them five stars. On time, communicated via app, took us to hotel and very efficient. Downside was the driver literally did not talk. The only time he said anything was when we got there and he made sure it was us and when I asked a question during the trip. First time in Rome and we were a little disappointed in that.
was not on time made us wait an hour would not recommend. He said there was a lot of traffic but there was none. He thought we would be longer getting through customs so he didnt want to wait for us instead we had to wait for him. not acceptable
Hello, At times the traffic within the airport is quite heavy, and we are in no control of it; as be the experience at many busy airports. We are sorry you had to wait. We hope the rest of your trip went well.
The driver was 20 minutes late for pickup at the airport. But once we got in the car the driver was very respectful & helped us with our luggage both at the airport & our hotel.
Provided excellent communication before pickup, and was earlier than expected. Excellent service. Thank you
