Your tour starts at Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s most iconic squares, built on the site of an ancient stadium. Famous for its stunning fountains, lively atmosphere, and baroque architecture, it’s also a hub for enjoying Roman food culture. The piazza is surrounded by cafés and trattorias where you can sip an espresso, enjoy a traditional gelato, or try classic Roman dishes like supplì and pizza bianca. It’s the perfect spot to blend history with a taste of local flavors, exactly what this tour is about !

We had such a great time on the Secret Food Tour in Rome! It was the perfect way to experience the city through its food while learning about the neighborhoods and local history. Every stop was delicious, and we tried several things we probably would have never found on our own. Our guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Rome. The group was small, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal, and we never felt rushed. If you're looking for something beyond the typical tourist experience, I highly recommend this tour. Come hungry—you definitely won't leave that way!

This was such a fun - and very filling - tour! Rocio, our guide, was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgable, brimming with stories about the streets, piazzas and buildings we passed or visited. And the food, wow! You will NOT leave hungry, in fact, our tour began at 11:00 am and I didn’t think we’d be hungry again till breakfast! From the salumi to the suppli, from the lentils to the pizza and pasta…. The savory dishes were so good. And of course, what Italian food tour would be complete without cannoli and gelato?!? Check and check! We experienced all this while seeing the beauty of Roma around every corner. My entire family and even my 2-yr-old grandson enjoyed every minute! Rocio was the best guide we could have hoped for!
