Great tour guide and interesting bites along the way. One thing, it doesn't end at the meeting place so getting back to your hotel can be a bit more complicated
This was a last minute decision and glad I did it. Meet some really lovely People in the group. Great way to spend a evening if you are a solo traveller. The guide Roberto was Very interesting and learnt more about Rome in a relaxed informal way from a local.

We have been on several food tours in Rome and this one was definitely not at the top of our list. Sharing meats and cheeses off the same plate with random strangers (no toothpick to use to eat), eating hot fried fish outside in the street when it’s 95 degree, to dinner where the staff could care less you are there- it almost seemed like we were inconveniencing them for being there. Then we walk right next door to a gelato place that had an enormous line- and definitely not the best we’ve had while in Rome. The only silver lining was that our tour guide was a very sweet guy and he did the best he could with what he was given (with those given stops). There are better tours out there- save your money on this one.

We absolutely loved our food and wine tour with Frederica. We planned this for our first evening as we knew we would need something to help keep us awake and orient us to the city. We had 4 stops the first being an excellent salami and cheese with red wine appetizer next was a breaded fish and Prosecco and the best pasta I’ve had at a local restaurant with red and white wine and lastly, some gelato! Our Tour Guide was knowledgeable, kind and we met up with some other great families from the United States on the tour that we had never met before but all of this made for an absolutely wonderful tour and we would definitely do it again!!! Sam was an incredible tour guide! We had a private tour with him for the cocktail tour around Rome, and I would highly recommend. He had excellent recommendations, brought us to very cool bars and taught us about the history of each piazza we walked through. He gave great recommendations for restaurants and bars for us to explore outside the tour as well, and ended our tour with some incredible gelato. I highly recommend this tour, especially Sam!
