My friend & I loved this tour. We almost didn't make it, because we had a hard time getting a cab to arrive at 9:45 for a 10am weekday tour. Massimo was an excellent tour guide! He's very funny, and he taught us how to properly use the nasoni (Italian drinking fountains). The arena portion of the tour was canceled, I believe at the Parco's mandate, so I'm not yet sure how much will be discounted from our tour costs. The guides provide you with a single earphone to use with the receiver to hear the guide speaking, but consider bringing a noise-canceling ear bud for your other ear just in case. Obviously you'll be surrounded by other tours and people, but there was also heavy construction equipment operating directly outside the Forum at the beginning of the tour, so I missed most of what Massimo had to say. This tour was well organized; perhaps a good indicator is receivers/headphones and a thick guidebook with more information that the guide shows to us. I'll try to remember that for future trips. Massimo was wonderful, and I'd say 2 1/2 hours was just the right amount of time, especially in this 100 degree heat.
An excellent tour!!!!! Paty is a excellent tourist guide!!!! I enjoved the tour a lot !!!! Congratulationes for Paty !!!!
I am thankful that I booked guided tour as we could understand history and relevance of the things we saw. Caterina (trust I am able to recollect the name) really took us back in time to experience what would be the actual scene.
Today we toured the colosseum, Roman forum and Paletine hill. Our tour guide Caterina was extremely knowledgeable and interesting, led our group fantastically through blistering heat! She was totally unfazed. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it and her.
Our guide Katarina was so nice, so informative and so good at explaining the facts. She was so knowledgeable and so engaging, we loved every minute of this tour despite the increasing heat. Would 10/10 recommend this tour!! Very well organised, even the headsets were good.
The tour company did a good job confirming and re-confirming details of the tour on both iMessage and WhatsApp. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a good job guiding us through the crowded Colosseum on a very hot day.
Great overview of colosseum and Ancient Rome. Our guide (Alexandria?) was excellent. She battled the heat and kept us as cool as possible while revealing all of the important parts of the colosseum and Ancient Rome. She was very conscientious of the whole group.
I signed up for the arena entrance and they told me it wasn't available after I paid for it. I didn't get a refund yet and when we went on the tour it seems like it was open.
Really well organised and our guide was so friendly and very informative. Lots of communication beforehand to make it really clear where you should meet etc. Nice sized group and headphones were provided so you could hear everything really well.
Excellent tour. Very punctual with the schedule. The guide was excellent, very patient, and very kind.
