Pick up and drop off at hotel was as expected. We stopped in two locations to snorkel. Saw all kinds of fish, stingrays, turtles, a 7’ shark and barracudas. Our tour guys was lovely. They provide you all the gear and life jackets. We did bring our own snorkel set. Lunch was fajitas, you could pick between chicken or beef. You had to pay for your own drinking you wanted some. Time for shopping was short. Tequila tasting was great. They gave us many samples, we ended up buying a bottle. We were the last ones on the bus. Time is town was too short. Maybe another hour or two would be perfect.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the snorkeling, marine life, tequila tasting, and that our team took great care of you. We appreciate your comments about the time in town and shopping, as they help us improve the experience. We hope to welcome you again soon. What To Do In Cancun Customer service team
Overall a decent tour. A bit disorganized getting everyone situated for the boat ride to the reef. Not a very clean facility. The actual snorkeling was pretty cool. The guides watch you like a hawk for safety reasons. A++ for that. The tequila sampling and brief history lesson regarding the tequila making process was interesting. Lunch was very good.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We apologize for any disorganization during the boat ride and any cleanliness issues at the facility. However, we're glad to hear that you enjoyed the snorkeling experience and felt safe with our attentive guides. It's great to know that you found the tequila sampling and lunch enjoyable. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll use it to improve our services. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future. What To Do In Cancun Customer service team

They are very tricky and will charge you fees which is more than the government t fee. Poor transportation no attention to detail and then they will try to seek you an over priced tequila. AtY away from them. Be prepared to wait 2 hr for a ride back to you hotel, don’t ask them to drop you elsewhere because they will not do so.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your visit. It's important to note that the federal reef tax is imposed by the federal government of Mexico and is mandatory for all visitors to marine parks and reefs. If you have any concerns regarding the tax or its pricing, we recommend verifying the details on the website of the government. Regarding our services, we strive to provide a high level of attention to detail and customer satisfaction. We apologize if this was not the case during your visit. We offer optional services, and it's up to our customers to decide whether to acquire them. As for transportation, we apologize for the wait time you experienced. We understand it can be frustrating. If you have any specific concerns or requests, please let us know in advance so that we can better accommodate your needs. Furthermore, our tequila is handmade and artisanal, which may result in a different pricing structure compared to those in supermarkets in your country. We apologize if the pricing did not meet your expectations. We aim to offer a unique and authentic experience to our customers. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration to improve our services. If you have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to us directly. The guides were very friendly and professional. Also, the shop prices were super reasonable. The trip itself was great. While I personally wish the pace was a bit slower and could spend a bit more time in the reef, I didn’t feel rushed or frustrated. The only critique I have is that I wish there was more transparency around the itinerary. While it’s listed as a four hour trip, we spent less than an hour in the actual water. The other portion was lunch and walking around town before our transport came. While the town is cute, I had hoped for more time at the reef.
Dear Traveller, Thank you for your review and feedback of your experience, it is always very helpful for us to know how our visitors feel while participating on our experiences, this makes us be aware of our areas of opportunity and with that keep improving our service. Regarding the time on the water, for safety reasons our time on the water is around 1 hrs depending on the weather conditions, this is the time it is recommended for a person to be swimming and really enjoy the time on the water and avoid being tired and not felling safe. This is why our activity is adequate to this amount of time, after that you can enjoy a nice walk on the town or just relax at the restaurant. Thank you again and we hope to see you again very soon for another adventure. Best regards Reservation Department What To Do In Cancun
We booked a 4 hour snorkeling tour with What to do in Cancun. The snorkeling was a good experience and we could recommend it for beginners. The snorkeling staff was amazing, very helpful and seemed to have a lot of knowledge about the marine life. We felt taken care of during the whole boat trip and snorkeling. The activiny itself was quite short, 1 hour, after which we continued to the restaurant nearby to eat tacos. Very mediocre, you can easily find better food in Cancun. Although the estimation of the trip was 4 hours, we ended up with a day trip of over 8 hours. We spent approximately 4 hours in the car as the traffic jams were horrible on the way to Puerto Murelos - this is obviously not the staff’s fault. On the way back we took a ~1h detour without understanding why - the driver (nor anyone at any point of the day) did not keep us informed about the situation. In addition we faced extreme weather conditions as it was pouring rain. Driver’s driving style was totally irresponsible considering the weather and did absolutely not meet our (western) standards of safety. We asked the driver to slow down on the highway because we felt scared as it was pouring and the visibility was horrible. The driver responded that he already thinks he is driving too slow on the highway. This was an unfortunate experience even though the snorkeling itself was nice.
Dear Traveller, Thank you very much for your review. It is very important for us every feedback our visitors give us regarding their experience and all the services we provide. Unfortunately as you could see the day of your activity, the weather was not in our favor but we tried our best to provide you a professional service always taking care of the little details. Regarding the transportation service, we have a GPS connected to every van that allow us to control and verify every second the speed of each van our visitors are in. We will however look into it ask the safety of our customers is our main priority. Thank you again for your visit. Best regards Reservation department What To Do In Cancun
Helpful and fun crew on boat and at the business location (two blocks from boat); business lacks a changing area for males. National Park only allows GoPros attached to head or chest.
Dear Visitor, Thank you very much for your review and for your visit. Rules and regulation of the use of electronic devices are made by the Maritime Authorities, same which we have to provide to all our visitors before getting into the water. Our main priority is the safety of our clients and following the maritime laws, so we could be part of the conservation of the reef. Thank you again and hope to see you again very soon! WOULD NOT recommend them for any activities. 1) They will picky up late and then be 45 min late to take you back to hotel. They have vans but schedule it to their convenience so you are waiting for a van to return to hotel while most people have already left. 2) They claim a charge for Snorkel taxes is 10 USD when the government cost is 54 pesos (3USD). [picture bellow] When I Asked why they made a bunch of BS, I checked with some other licensed boats and the cost is 54 pesos. I told one employee they should at least be honest and he said the owner pockets the rest of supposed fee. 3) They will waste your time with a Tequila tasting and sell you their Tequila which is overpriced. 4) Lunch does not include a drink and they give you 3 tacos with are very small. 5) Photograph will be charged extra and you will be charged and exchange money at whatever rate they feel like it. Please, please stay away from this people. If you get to Puerto Morelos you can do the snorkel for about 20 USD includes the permit and all gear. Furthermore the bus will have a limited drop off and I saw how the driver told other guest that he would not drop them to their hotel. I was truly shocked that after paying so much you get that type of hospitality.
Dear Traveller, Thank you for your feedback of your experience and your visit. All the reviews from our customers are very important to keep improving our service and continue improving the quality of our activities. Regarding the fee of $10 usd to had to pay, like we advise you yesterday during the many messages you sent us, this is a federal reef tax that the government demands to all the providers, tours companies and travellers who will visit a matime park such as the one you visited. All the federal zones in Mexicó are protected area by the government, so to have access to them and to help preserve them they implemented the federal reef tax wich actually in Puerto Morelos is the cheapest one to pay as if you go to Isla Mujeres or cozumel to participate in dicing or snorkel activites the reef tax is 15 usd per person. This is a tax we as nautical provider pay as well directly to the government as you can verify it like we advise you yesterday with the maritime authorities of Mexicó. Thank you again for your visit. You have a great new year and many blessings. Regards Reservation Department What To Do In Cancun
The crew on the boat were great! Thanks Freida, Mike, Marcus. However, the Reef was the star of this adventure. We saw absolutely amazing fish and coral! The shared ride to Puerto Morelos was efficient but, time consuming. We spent nearly an hour picking people up within the hotel zone. If we did this again, I would want an option for personal transfers or at least smaller groups. Note: you cannot wear any kind of sunscreen on the Reef. I wish this was clearly stated, I bought “reef safe” sunscreen that I could not use.
Dear Traveller, Thank you for your feedback, all our reviews are important for us to keep working hard on our activites and experiences. We are so happy to know you got to see the marine diversity of the beautiful coral reef. On your next visit will make sure to let you know about all the specifications before the activity. Thank you again! Best Regards Reservation Department What to Do In Cancun
