You will be taken to the usually packed museum entrance, where you will meet you private tour guide and, with your "skip the line" ticket, you will skip the huge entry line and access the metal detector check. All of our tour guides are local experts and have a deep knowledge in art and history. They are perfectly trained to follow your pace, assist you throughout the whole tour and guarantee you an unforgettable experience! The tour will begin in a gorgeous panoramic terrace that offers a stunning view of St. Peter's dome overlooking the Vatican gardens. The guide will then walk you through all the highlights of the museums which include masterpieces and artifacts from different cultures and civilizations.
Enter and gasp at the magnificent fresco paintings of the world's most famous chapel! Michelangelo's ceiling and "Last Judgment" are the highlights of the tour.

- The tour operator is not responsible for last minute, unpredictable closures, strikes or union meetings of St Peter's Basilica. Nevertheless, the tour operator will be happy to offer customers an extended tour for the remaining time.
- For the 3hours, 4hours and 5hours option: If the Basilica reaches full capacity, access will unfortunately not be allowed, and this will be beyond our control. In such a case, more time will be spent inside the museums.
- Hotel drop off at the end of the tour is not included but it can be added for an extra cost. Please message us to add drop off at the end of the tour

Our guide Valentina was wonderful and so knowledgeable about The Vatican. We ranged in age from 16 to 79 and she made it fun and entertaining for all. She made sure we all got to see everything even though 2 of us were in wheelchairs! We would highly recommend this tour to all.

My family enjoyed the Vatican City tour. Constanza our private tour guide was superb. She knew so much of the history and answered any questions we may have had. She took her time explaining things in detail and at a pace best for my family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and we truly enjoyed our experience with her. If you have the opportunity to take this private tour in Rome do so well worth the extra private tour $$.
This tour was very heavily focused on the art and not so much the history of the Catholic Church and the Popes. Also, I booked the 5 hour tour and the last hour was a mosaic class in the gift shop which I was not expecting so I felt like the tour was cut short.

Driver picked up from hotel and we were off to the vatican! Our guide letticia was great. She told us she had done the tour about 2000 times! She new all the shortcuts around tge biggest crowds and was able to distill 2000 years of art history into a 3 hour tour. She was able to improvise to accomodate my 11 and 15 year old and keep them engaged. Would do again!
