Our transfer from the hotel in Rome to FCO was excellent. We had called the day before to reschedule the pickup time, this was not an issue. Our driver Claudio was professional, friendly, and a wealth of local knowledge.
Our flight was delayed causing us to arrive at the meeting point 1 hour later than we should have. A Viator rep messaged us that the driver was waiting at the meeting point but he was not there. The rep asked us to call driver directly. We tried 3 times with no answer. After an hour we were told our driver left and would not return. Viator had our flight details but we never received any communication from the driver that he could not wait.
Very professional, skilled and friendly. Easy to find at airport, very prompt. Helpful in every way. Put us at ease and made us feel comfortable.
<p>Booked before trip for car for two. There was a limit of 1 big bag and 1 carryon per person. Since this transfer was at the end of a 12 day cruise, we had done some shopping and were going to be over the limit. I called the company from the ship and they upgraded us to a van for only 20 euros more. Van was on time and driver was friendly and helpful. .</p>
<p>Don't bother with this transfer. They don't turn up.</p>
<p>Diver was nice, punctual but did not know his way around. Didn't go the best way and hit major traffic and had trouble finding the airport hotel. Also it turned out we could have taken a taxi for less from our hotel to the airport hotel</p>
