Itinerary
Pollok Park is on the outskirts of Glasgow, and the main attraction here is the iconic 'hairy coos' (Highland Cows).
Heading to Falkirk, we will take you to the tallest Equine Statues in the world, two legendary Scottish Sea Horses known as ‘Kelpies’. Weighing at 300 tons each and 100 feet tall, they are a feat of engineering.
Next on the itinerary is Stirling, often referred to as the 'Gateway to the Highlands'. Stirling is a beautiful city with a centre featuring historic streets and independent shops. We estimate that your stay here will be around 90 minutes. If you choose to do so, we can take you to Stirling Castle and/or the Wallace Monument while in Stirling, but both have an admission charge should you decide to visit inside.
Doune Castle was featured in the TV hit series Outlander, it was Winterfell in the Game of Thrones pilot, and it was where most of Monty Python and the Holy Grail was filmed. We will do a quick stop here if you are a fan of any of these shows for some pictures outside.
Our last featured attraction: a Cruise on Loch Lomond. The 1hr 'Experience' cruise with a sailing time of 3:30pm is the only one suitable to fit our schedule. Prices start at £16.50 for an Adult with various packages for Families and Young Adults.
If a cruise is not to your liking, we will take you to Luss, hailed as the most beautiful village in Scotland. Luss is nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond, this conservation village features incredible views of the loch, quaint historic cottages with colourful gardens, and a ‘hogback Viking gravestone’ - a rare type of Viking gravestone only found on the British Isles.

This was my most favorite day on our 16 day trip in the British Isles! Before our trip, Joao was easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. I gave him a list of things we wanted to see and he fit it all into a perfect day. We were assigned Taiymur as our guide and we were so lucky!! Taiymur was FANTASTIC and made our day so amazing. He was so prepared for everything we needed. He was the perfect mix of telling us things about the area and allowing quiet time for us to just enjoy the scenery. He also had great insights into how to get great photos in the various places we wanted to see. I highly recommend E2G Travel, Joao, and our guide Taiymur!!
What fantastic feedback, Taiymur and Joao will be grateful of your warm words, hope to see you again in the future,
Gerry was a phenomenal tour guide and I would request him again in a heartbeat. He was extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited as well as the history of Scotland. As a tour guide, he was eager to learn about our interests and personalized our tour based on that information. He went above and beyond to make our day memorable. And if that wasn’t enough, he continued to share tips and suggestions days after our tour.
What a lovely review! Thank you so much, Gerry is a wonderful guide and loves tailoring the tours to customers so I'm glad you had a great day
Gerry was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. Felt like we made a new friend in Scotland today! Would highly recommend and will ask for him again when we come back to Scotland.
Aw that's lovely to read Laurette! Thank you very much for the recommendation and glad you had a great day
This guide has history and facts about the places he showed us. He scouted blarney castle gardens ahead of time to show us the most impressive features. Great guide, best option out there.
Thanks Ruth for your 5 star review, your guide Alan will be grateful for the feedback.
We had a group of 20 and we loved our tour! Diana did an excellent job at showing us how beautiful Scotland is. Love seeing the Highland ‘Coos’, the castles and the beautiful views. We highly recommend E2G and Diana.
Thank you so much for the 5 stars! Glad you had a great day with Diana
We had a fantastic day touring Scotland thanks to our tour guide, Paul! There were six of us in our party, and Paul showed up on time, with a very comfortable van, and a pleasant, fun and laid back personality! We asked if we could change up the itinerary slightly and he didn’t hesitate to accommodate. He was knowledgeable on the history and sights of Scotland, and had fun stories and interesting facts. He even told us about his favorite bakery, as we were driving by, so we all said let’s go! He pulled right over and gave us a few minutes to go get some coffee and pastries. The sights we saw around Glasgow were beautiful and historic. We are so thankful we took this tour, but Paul truly made this tour fun and insightful!
Thank you so much for your 5 stars and detailed review! Glad you had a great time with Paul :)
Our tour guide, Simon, was exceptional! There were four of us in our group from Florida so the Scottish accents are sometimes challenging in a fun sorta way but he purposefully slowed down his speech and clarified words for us. He was an excellent driver and his van was very comfortable. He was quite knowledgeable about Scottish history and current events especially soccer and other sports. He had a well planned itinerary and allowed us plenty of time to explore at each stop. He took us to some fun, off the beaten path, places including a small town pub. We highly recommend Simon!!
Very kind of you to leave such a detailed review, Deborah! Glad you had a great time with Simon. Hope to see you again some day!
Alan Gibson was our excellent tour guide and driver. He was prompt to pick us up. His running dialogue of information as we drove along was great. He drove to all the places we had asked to see. A very nice day.
It's really appreciated by us, when customers like yourself leave such positive feedback, many thanks! Alan will be grateful you mentioning him by name, thankyou.
Ross was a fantastic tour guide! He let us completely customize our tour and we immensely enjoyed our day with him.
Thank you for your review! Ross was glad to customise your tour to ensure you had a great day, seeing the things that were important to you.
The private tour was booked at the last minute. Was surprised to find E2G tours offering the tour on 1st January 2026. And it was reasonably priced as well. The driver/guide assigned to my family was Corinne. My family consisted of my children who were 3 and 9 years old. Corinne was a really good driver and was very careful given that there was a child in the car. Corinne was also very well versed with Scottish history and patiently explained everything to us. Would recommend E2G tours and Corinne in particular.
What a lovely review and high praise for Corrine she will be really grateful. So happy to hear that it was a great day out for you and your family, many thanks.
