We did this tour this morning on our second day in Egypt and I cannot think of a better way to be introduced to Giza! Ahmad was our guide and our driver was Asam - they were both terrific and so patient with me as I asked a million questions and tried out some Arabic vocabulary. We did the ATVs first and our driver Shopra was great! He took us to a lovely view point as the sun was rising and even took an incredible video of us driving the ATVs. Then we went to the Pyramid complex where Ahmad gave us the history of the pyramids and we got to go inside. Then Asam picked us all up and drove us to a location where we could ride camels. The first camel we got was very sad so Ahmad asked if we could have another camel and the camel man agreed, which I thought was nice. We rode the camels to the Sphinx which was very relaxing and the camel man told us about the camel industry in Egypt and Sudan. Ahmad met us at the Sphinx and gave us more history. My favorite part was that we asked Ahmad for local food and he took us to some really tasty places which was above and beyond what the tour involved. We were so happy that we chose this tour and that we had Ahmad as our guide who let us customize it!

The driver was waiting for us when we exited baggage claim. He helped bring the luggage to his car. We had a very safe and uneventful ride to our hotel. He pointed out sites along the way. He wore a mask the whole time.

<p>The name of my driver was Ahmed. He was there before I arrived and was very courteous. Ahmed was gracious enough to show me around Cairo when the only requirement of his was to just take me from the airport to my hotel. While driving he was giving me a tour of some of the areas that were along our route to the hotel. He also took me to some nice places to shop at, which I would recommend doing instead of the bazaar. He is well known around that area and helps you out a lot when you need it. I also had him as my driver when I was leaving Cairo to head by to the U.S. and he was on time. I would recommend that you could request him as your pickup driver, because you can gain some valuable information from him prior to your actual tours with any company that you decide to use</p>
