Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and oldest of the Giza Pyramids and the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Standing at an original height of 146 meters, this architectural marvel was constructed over 4,500 years ago as a grand tomb for Pharaoh Khufu. During your tour, you'll explore the intricate design of this ancient masterpiece, from its massive limestone blocks to the internal passageways that reveal its extraordinary engineering. Learn fascinating stories about its construction, purpose, and the mysteries that continue to intrigue historians and archaeologists today.

Discover the fascinating Pyramid of Khafre, the second-largest of the Giza Pyramids and a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. Built over 4,500 years ago for Pharaoh Khafre, this pyramid is distinguished by its unique design and the remnants of its original smooth casing stones at the summit. Standing at 136 meters, it appears taller than the Great Pyramid due to its higher base on the Giza Plateau. Your tour will delve into the history of its construction, the advanced techniques used, and its connection to the Great Sphinx, which is believed to bear Khafre’s likeness. A visit to this iconic site offers a deeper understanding of ancient Egypt's grandeur and ingenuity.

Admission not included30 min

Explore the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest yet most charming of the three main Giza Pyramids. Built over 4,500 years ago for Pharaoh Menkaure, this pyramid stands at 65 meters and is renowned for its intricate construction using granite and limestone. Despite its smaller size, it showcases exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, reflecting the significance of the pharaoh it was built for. Your tour will reveal the pyramid’s fascinating history, its unique architectural features, and its role within the larger Giza complex. Gain insights into the legacy of Menkaure and the enduring mysteries surrounding this ancient wonder.

30 min

Experience the breathtaking panoramic view of the Pyramids, where the majestic trio of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure stands proudly against the desert backdrop. This vantage point offers a perfect opportunity to admire the grandeur of these ancient wonders together, capturing the essence of the Giza Plateau in its entirety. The panoramic spot is ideal for photography, providing a stunning perspective of the pyramids aligned in harmony with the vast surrounding landscape. As you take in the view, your guide will share fascinating stories and historical insights, making this moment an unforgettable highlight of your visit to Egypt.

30 min

The Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of King Khafre are two of Egypt’s most iconic and mysterious landmarks. The Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, is believed to represent King Khafre himself, standing guard over the Giza Plateau. It is one of the largest and oldest statues in the world, measuring 73 meters in length and 20 meters in height. Nearby, the Valley Temple of Khafre, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture, was once used for royal funerary rituals. Its massive limestone blocks and well-preserved statues provide a glimpse into the grandeur of the Old Kingdom. Together, these sites offer a fascinating insight into Egypt’s ancient religious and architectural legacy.

Egypt - “The Mariam Experience “

I have traveled to various countries and experienced a variety of excellent tours. This was incredible and very easy to arrange. What truly made the tour memorable was the tour guide Mariam. She provided extensive knowledge and truly knows her craft. We toured the pyramids, local attractions, the world famous museum, and excellent food. Excellent English and helped me navigate various areas that could easily create challenges for a traveling foreigner. She truly put me at ease and offered honest and valuable advice. I spent 8 hours with her and her driver. Which by the way, he was a safe driver in an aggressive driving environment. Can’t say enough about that. Mariam helped me get the pictures of a lifetime and she knew everyone. I took inventory of the other tour guides and they were no match for the Mariam Experience. If you want the best experience in Egypt, this is the hidden gym among the incredible sights! If there were more stars for this review, she would get it! Thank you!

Incredible.

Doma has been the best guide we could have, super attentive, explaining everything in detail, and on top of all this, taking amazing photos!! I am very grateful to have met him and for showing us Egyptian culture in depth; we have learned a lot. On the other hand, we wanted to do some more shopping, and he took us to some really top places! He showed us how papyrus is made and to an incredible place for Egyptian essences. If you have the option to choose Doma, do not hesitate! Highly recommended!!

The best tour I’ve ever had. 10/10👍🏽

The best tour I have ever experienced. Michael is the reason you come to Egypt. He was passionate, knowledgeable, and personable. He has blown every tour guide I’ve ever had out of the water - no hidden stops and points scammers out to you. Communication pre-tour was great. Vehicle was clean, cool, and equipped with water and snacks. A bonus…Michael was also a fantastic photographer and knew all the good spots.

You get what you pay for...

We had an extended layover in Egypt and enjoyed taking advantage of our time there to see the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. That said, what we got from this experience was less than what we hoped for: 1. Driving in Egypt is very different from driving in the US where we're from; even so, the driver we had was comparatively more reckless on the roads than the cars surrounding us. The driver weaved between cars, accelerated quickly and slammed on breaks, and had several near accidents. This is coming from people who have experienced driving in India, Vietnam, and Peru. 2. Having been on many other tours in the past in other countries, I was surprised that our tour guide didn't take advantage of the time we had in transit to chat with us, share about life in Egypt, Egyptian history, nor culture. Instead, we asked a few questions here and there, but the tour guide spent the majority of the time texting on their phone... This continued even when we were walking around the sites. The tour guide continued to be occupied on social media, with text messages, or even taking phone calls while with us. I understand this is fine when waiting for us as we ate lunch independently, but when with guests? At the sites? Hmm... we found this to be quite disrespectful. (I will acknowledge, the guide did provide information and offer to take photos throughout our experience, but there was a disproportionate amount of time they spent on the phone.) 3. The tour guide stopped us multiple times to use the restroom and grab coffee for themselves. That's completely fine with us, as these pauses didn't really cut into our tour time, but I was surprised our tour guide never asked us if we needed a break or would like to stop at the restroom ourselves. Of note, to anyone planning to visit these sites while on an extended layover, plan to schedule the tour start time at least 2 hours after your anticipated landing time. Getting a transit visa and getting through immigration took far longer than we expected.

This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how these aspects affected your experience. We appreciate your acknowledgment of the information shared by the guide and the support with photos, but we agree that guests should always feel fully engaged and cared for throughout the tour. Your feedback has been shared internally to help us improve both our guiding standards and transportation experience for future guests.
