Nuno provided great service for us. Driving through Portugal’s countryside was beautiful. As with all religious sites, commerce has built up in Fátima so be prepared for crowds. Arriving early on a Sunday morning was helpful, but the English service is in the afternoon. We were able to spend some time walking around the village of Nazaré- gelato was awesome. We walked the streets of Óbidos and had an opportunity to do some shopping. If you like cherry cordials, be sure to try the Ginga. Many shops along the street sell samples.
Our driver Fillippe was fantastic. He told us a lot of history and was very interesting to talk to. His recommendation for lunch was perfect! Highly recommend.
