As far as I'm concerned you should carve out at least half a day to be able to see them at their best. Palatine Hill, Colosseum and the Roman Forum were the beating heart of Roman civilization: visiting these places will be an experience you will not soon forget. Where this archaeological area stands today, was once the center of commerce, politics, culture and religion of the ancient city of Rome. By "once" I mean hundreds of years before the birth of Christ, so you can well understand that this archaeological area has seen so much history and visiting it with me will be like going back in time ! The tour will start from your hotel where I'll pick you up with my V Class Mercedes-Benz Minivan. I'll drive you to the area of the Colosseum Archaeological Park entertaining you with an historical introduction. Once there will climb the Palatine Hill to reach the balcony, where we will spend the first 30 minutes enjoying the extraordinary view of the entire area of the Roman Forum admiring the monuments most significant of the beating heart of ancient Rome, we also will admire the remains of the Basilicas, of the Temples, of the Roman Curia, of the Triumphal Arches and much more. Then, finally we will be able to enter inside the majestic Flavian Amphitheater where you will be overwhelmed by the informations and the emotions that only a local guide can offer. At the end of the visit you will be accompanied back to your hotel. Feel free to request any type of customization I will be happy to satisfy you !

My wife and I just completed a 2 day guided tour of Rome with Pietro. He is absolutely amazing! His love of Rome and incredible passion for people come out in everything he says and does. This was our second trip to Rome and our second time using Pietro as a guide. His knowledge of the city and all its secrets seems limitless. He took us through the Colosseum, under the Trevi Fountain, toured the Jewish Ghetto, down the Old Appian Way and so much more! His personal and jovial manner make his tours extra special. We have been on many guided tours through many different cities and we can say without reservation that Pietro is the best! We could not recommend him more highly. Pietro was absolutely fantastic! His knowledge of the city and surrounding areas was priceless. We originally had several different tours planned at multiple sites for our rome trip and we lucked out getting connected with Pietro by friends who had already done a private tour with him earlier in the year. Being from out of country a personal reference by friends who also had a blast with him and said “doing the private tour with Pietro was the best decision and best thing we did in Rome” there was no question we would be making plans with him instead of multiple tours over serval days in groups. And I will say we had the best time. He picked us up at our air bnb, had fresh pastries for us and was extremely friendly. Car was very nice and clean, provided water later in the day. And not only did we see literally ALL of the main sites but also many that we didnt even know you wanted to see. He knew all the histories and being a local raised here he knew all the best spots for treats, coffee and lunch that he made reservations for us in advance. His local connections and friendships show that he is well liked and respected in the community. If we come back we will be using him to see new sights. AMAZING!! 10 ⭐️!!!!

My family had only one full day in Rome and we wanted to see and learn as much as we could, and Pietro delivered! It was a great day which he told us a lot of the history of Rome, and we stopped to tour all the big sites, including the Vatican and Pantheon and the Colosseum. He took us to a great local place for lunch and we hit a great gelato spot at the end of the day. Highly recommended!
