- This is a walking tour through different areas of the city with steps and uneven walkways. Comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water are strongly recommended.
- Please advise during the booking process if there are any travellers with mobility concerns so that we can best accommodate you.
- Please note that the Vatican Museums provide free entrance for visitors who are (according to the requirements stated by the Vatican City) at least 74% disabled by presenting the appropriate certification and, if one needs assistance by another person, that person also receives a free entrance. Please inform us when you are booking if you fit into these requirements and we will remove the pricing of the entry tickets from the price of the tour.
- If reservations at the Pantheon are not possible for weekends or if the lines are too long, the guide will give you the explanation from the outside to ensure all other stops on the tour are not missed.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Due to the Jubilee, some monuments may be under restoration. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.

Enrica was such a knowledgeable guide. She gave us an extensive history of Rome and wove the details of each location so creatively into our day. She has boundless energy (taking us from one historic site to another- starting with the Collesium). Her enthusiasm and love for Rome is magical. It is very evident that she loves what she does! In addition, she asked us for input - so that she could personalize our experience. We visited two local establishments. One, where we tasted a delicious frozen coffee with creme treat. The other, for lunch, we enjoyed unique, local choices. Time flew so quickly and we must return another day to spend significant time in Rome. The day of the excursion- the driver - Andrea reached out to confirm meeting time and location. It was comforting to have his contact info. He drove us to Rome- taking short cuts to get around traffic. We met Enriqua and ran to the colosseum because we were late. But she got us in and we had a amazing tour with her. She was so knowledgeable and informative. We were able to see so much because we were a group of 4 so we’re able to move quickly through crowds. After we went back to the car (we paid extra to have the car available) and we saw the trevo fountain and a number of other sights before stopping for lunch. We then went to the Vatican and she did an amazing tour there. So much to see and it was quick. Wish we had more time but had to get back to the ship. An amazing day. Highlight of our cruise. Highly recommend

Amazing day in Rome. We saw more than expected in one day. Great tour if you want to see alot if Rome in one day. Colosseum, Roman forum, Trevi, fountain, pantheon, Vatican, Sistine chapel, Saint peter‘s, and much much more all in five hour period. Strongly recommend this tour.

Great communication prior to our tour and even the morning of the tour. The pickup (and drop off) at the cruise ship and then to our guide went smoothly. Our tour guide Valeria was absolutely amazing! She spoke English well, was so knowledgeable about the city, covered all the main attractions, and got us into them quickly, bypassing the long lines. This was the only excursion we booked separate from the cruise ship, and it was by far the best tour of our trip.

When you make a one day stop in Rome and you want to see as much as you can, our private tour with Erturk was the ticket. We received just the right amount of depth for us, at each site but we did not get bogged down at any location. The depth of knowledge Erturk has is amazing. We were on a cruise and only had one day in Rome. WE wanted to see as much as we could in one day! Our tour guide was Gracelyn Monaco. She was an amazing tour guide. Gracelyn showed us almost everything there is to see In Rome. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed Rome so much! With Gracelyn it seemed our best friend was taking us around the city!! Our excursion with Through Eternity tours was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Were were picked up at the port from our cruise ship and visited the Colosseum and Vatican museums in one day. Pip was flexible when our cruise line changed the itinerary with a few days to go which affected the date we were in Rome. Our guide Guia was both knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely use Through Eternity tours again.

We booked the shore excursion to Rome and had an excellent experience for two 70ish grandparents and our 20ish granddaughters. The walking was a lot but is the best way to see Rome. Our guide was Thomas who is a history professor and who we would recommend without hesitation. The Trevi Fountain was a big hit with the girls. It was expensive but worth the price.
Our Rome In A Day excursion is designed especially for our cruisers in town for limited time who wish to see the highlights the Eternal City has to offer, all the while needing to adhere to the ship's strict arrival and departure times. World-famous Trevi Fountain is certainly one of those highlights and I can see why your grandchildren loved it so much and no better companion to have by your side to explain the history behind the sites and sounds you are experiencing than our terrific Thomas!
