Our guide Jesus tailored our day to our interests, the tour was lovely and the scenery was beautiful! The lake and surroundings are a must see while in Guadalajara!
We had a wonderful time. Jesus was a great guy and was very knowledgeable of the area and its history. He took us to great restaurants. He surprised us by taking us to Vicente Fernández’s ranch on the way to Chapala. He speaks perfectly English would help my son who does not understand Spanish. I highly recommend Jesus and look forward to working with him again.
Enjoyable day outside a busy city- the towns around the lake are charming. Eduardo was informative and gracious to our requests along the way. We had a wonderful time!
Chapala and Ajijic are lovely towns , the tour was strange because the guide never left us alone …we’ve taken private tours before and always have been given private time but this guy was stuck like glue . To top it off , he brought up politics …even praising the president of El Salvador and criticizing Mexicos president ! I was in total disagreement and disbelief .
Thank you very much for your feedback. I sincerely apologize for the discomfort you experienced during the tour. I will personally speak with the guide to address both the lack of private time and the inappropriate introduction of political topics. Your experience is extremely important to us, and we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Please accept our apologies, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better and more comfortable experience in the future.
Eduardo was an outstanding guide for our Lake Chapala tour. Excellent info, great vibes, safe driving, and highly accommodating to changes and stops. Great boat ride with dining on the little island. Eduardo handled all interactions with service providers, ensuring fair prices. Highly recommend!
Our tour guide Jesus was excellent! He was very accommodating, patient, and knowledgeable. Jesus has the perfect personality for this type of job. We had a wonderful and relaxed experience. The towns of Chapala and Ajijic are lovely and well worth visiting for the day or longer.
Mauricio our driver for second day in a row was fenomenal we couldn’t ask for better tour guy he’s really knowledgeable and good to explain the tour and what’s emblematic of each city we visit. Definitely we are coming back to Guadalajara to take more tour with.
Got a private tour of Chapala and Ajijic from Jesus and it was the perfect amount of history, adventure and fun! He's a great tour guide with an easy-going and fun personality, along with a great local perspective. His English/Spanish was perfect and our group of three had a wonderful time!
Ruben was a good patien t private guide allowing us to shop and dine and try new things. We enjoyed the day, he answered our many questions and told great stories and recommendations.
Mauricio was the perfect guide. We were a group of 3 , 2 were senior citizens and a private tour was perfect. He has more knowledge about history than anyone I know. He was very patient and flexible. We asked for a different drop off and he was happy to help. If you want to hear all the facts and history about Mexico, request Mauricio. We felt safe and comfortable the whole trip.
