Explore the famous Giza pyramids area and Sphinx. You will start visiting the Great Pyramid of Cheops(Khufu). A masterpiece of fabricated structure and architecture, you will be overwhelmed by the huge size of its blocks, the height, and the age that exceeded 4600 years. Your guide will explain fully the history of all the areas including the other pyramids, of Chephren and Mycerinus, answer all your questions, and give you free time for photography. You will have the chance to take pictures of the area including all the pyramids from the panorama area.). You can do some extras like entering one of the pyramid's chambers or you may like to ride a camel around the area. Moving to the Sphinx area where you will spend some time exploring this monolith statue, which symbolizes the power and wisdom of the pharaoh. Next to the Sphinx area, you will visit the valley temple where you will learn about mummification in ancient Egypt.
The fascinating experience will carry on with your visit to Sakkara, the necropolis of the old kingdom where the oldest pyramid of king Zoser was built in 2800 BC. Enjoy the colored wall paintings that date thousands of years ago by entering one of the tombs of the nobles. On top of a little mount in Sakkara, you can have a panoramic view of 12 pyramids around.
Proceed to Memphis, the oldest capital city of Ancient Egypt; you will be impressed by the giant colossus of Ramses the great, the alabaster Sphinx, and many more monuments in the open-air museum

I recently booked a private tour with Your Egypt Tours to see the pyramids of Giza and other sites around Cairo. It was truly one of the greatest experiences I've had with foreign travel. And it's all due to our guide Mamdouh Ismail. The guy is a badass. My friend and I hit him with an unstoppable barrage of questions and he was always knowledgable and amiable to answer any and every one. This guy is legit. He's an egyptologist and has been studying and touring many, many years. He was like a human encyclopedia of all things antiquity. On top of that he was incredibly friendly and fun to be around. From the very start Mona Hamdy was a true pleasure to work with. Quick response enabled me to plan a day tour to my needs in less than 3 days! It was my boss and my first visit to Egypt. Mamdouh was such an incredible guide - we spent about 20 hours doing a custom tour with virtually everything we could squeeze in. Any time we needed a juice or tea, a break, wanted to stay longer, it was completely at our own pace. I felt so safe, cared for, and educated at every moment. I can't imagine a better tour and I'm so grateful we booked through Your Egypt Tours - we had a front row seat to everything, first ones into the pyramids, you name it, the entire experience was completely VIP.
