Pyramid of Khafre or of Chephren is the second-tallest and second-largest of the 3 Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the tomb of the Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre, who ruled c. 2558−2532 BC
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. The original entrance to the Great Pyramid is on the north, 17 meters (56 ft.) vertically above ground level and 7.29 meters (23.9 ft.) east of the centerline of the pyramid. From this original entrance, there is a Descending Passage 0.96 meters (3.1 ft.) high and 1.04 meters (3.4 ft.) wide, which goes down at an angle of 26° 31'23" through the masonry of the pyramid and then into the bedrock beneath it. After 105.23 meters (345.2 ft.), the passage becomes level and continues for an additional 8.84 meters (29.0 ft.) to the lower Chamber, which appears not to have been finished. There is a continuation of the horizontal passage in the south wall of the lower chamber; there is also a pit dug in the floor of the chamber.
Sakkara, located only 27 km southwest away from Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (Built for king Zoser), which is considered an important part of the process of the pyramid evolution, which was made from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. (2 hrs Time Spent)
The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid, is an archaeological site in the Saqqara necropolis, Egypt, northwest of the city of Memphis. The 6-tier, the 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt. It was built in the 27th century BC during the Third Dynasty for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser
The mastaba of Mereruka is the largest and most elaborate of all the non-royal tombs in Saqqara with 33 rooms or chambers in total. Mereruka was the vizier to king Teti, who was the first pharaoh of the 6th dynasty Old Kingdom period of Egypt
Dahshur pyramids were an extremely important learning experience for the Egyptians. It provided them with the knowledge and know-how to transition from steep-sided pyramids to smooth-sided pyramids. Ultimately their breadth of experience would allow them to build the Great Pyramid of Giza; the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing to this date.

We booked this Japanese-speaking guide. We hired a guided tour because we thought it would protect us from aggressive touts and rip-offs locally. However, this tour guide itself tried to deceive and rip us off. They demanded an additional fee four times the tour price for optional extras. Furthermore, the camel ride around the pyramids, which should cost 1000 Egyptian pounds for an hour, was charged at 35 USD for just 15 minutes. Furthermore, the guide's explanations of the pyramids and other ruins were delivered at an extremely fast pace, making it difficult for us to understand much. Moreover, we were rushed constantly around the pyramids, preventing us from fully experiencing the awe-inspiring atmosphere. It was a very disappointing guided tour.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, as our primary goal is to ensure every guest has a fantastic time on their tour. We have reviewed the details of your full-day trip, and we want to assure you that we delivered the complete itinerary and all included services as promised. The tour covered all scheduled visits, including the Pyramids and Sphinx. As a complimentary gesture, we provided a welcome drink and even extended the tour time to approximately 9 hours, which is beyond our standard 8-hour workday, to ensure you saw everything. We also helped arrange the camel ride at the Pyramids for a very low, optional rate ($10 per person for 30 minutes), and provided complimentary gifts. We genuinely regret that even with these efforts and inclusions, your experience was disappointing. We are committed to providing exceptional value and service, and we use all feedback to continuously improve.
We loved this tour especially our guide, Nasser. We had a blast exploring the pyramids and everything in between. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Egypt. My favorite thing was how insightful Nasser is about Egypt.
Thanks, Ethan, for your time to rate Egypt Direct tours
The trip delivered exactly what was promised, and at the right pace . Our guide, Ms Ghada was outstanding. Her knowledge and English were awesome, and she gave just the right amount of information, plus tailored to our interests. It was the absolutely best way to visit the Giza and Saqqara pyramids.
Thank you to Faten's guide. Our Japanese guide explained everything from pyramids to sightseeing in the city.

We were guidet by Nasser and he did a fantastic job. Throughout the day, he gave us the best experience, and were always available to help or answer questions. We had a great day, no way we were able to do a similar trip by ourselves - not to mention navigating through Egyptian traffic. We can highly recommend a full day trip with Egypt direct Tours - you will be well taken care of. Hotel pickup, our own driver and personal guide for the entire day - and a delicious lunch - the price is even reasonable. Big thanks to Nasser and Hassan ✌️.

Ahmed Nasser was an exceptional tour guide during my Alexandria day tour and Memphis city tour in Egypt. His deep knowledge of Egyptian history and culture brought each site to life, making the experience both educational and captivating. Ahmed's friendly demeanor and professionalism ensured a smooth and enjoyable journey, offering insightful commentary and answering all our questions with patience. I highly recommend Ahmed Nasser for anyone looking to explore Egypt's treasures with an experienced and personable guide.

We traveled to different places in Giza, Memphis. Nasser is a wonderful tour guide. He knows a lot about the history. He was very friendly and hospitable. We had a 3 month old baby with us. But he made it so easy for us by good planning and we didn’t miss anything in the day tour. Atif also knows his way round. Wish to take more tours with him in the future.
Many thanks for your 5 stars rating.
