Great in terms of quality price. You could see the pyramids from the hotel. They let us leave the backpacks at the hotel while we made the excursions. The food and breakfast were great. The small room but perfect for a couple of nights.
A truly unique and unforgettable experience! Visiting the Pyramids of Giza feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by history and mystery. The sight of the majestic pyramids and the Sphinx is absolutely breathtaking, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about their history and construction. I recommend going early in the morning to avoid the heat and fully enjoy the atmosphere. A must-see if you’re visiting Egypt!
I booked 3 tours with the hotel's tourism and they took care of me with good price. The tour guide was excellent. The receptionist were very friendly and welcoming. Best part of the trip was the hotel upgraded my room to deluxe for booking 3 tours with them and they gave a free drop off from hotel to Airport. I enjoyed my stay and hope to come back again!
Crawled inside of pyramids and experienced the historical influences that created the features of the pyramids. Saw big statues and learned hieroglyphics for significance of markings.
I loved my guides! Amina was so so sweet and she was so knowledgeable about everything we saw. She made me feel safe as a solo female and took so many pictures of me. My driver, Essam, was very nice too. I definitely recommend both of them!
This was by far the worse tour we had in Egypt, and in our lives in general. First we got stalled by the hotel owner resulting in being late by 30 mins, he kept insisting on having a second cup of coffee and that they should wait on us. Then as soon as we got in the car, the guide (Mustafa) kept insisting that we must take a carriage to move around in the pyramids area, otherwise we would have to walk 2-3 hours with him and the driver. Complete lie. He started by telling us the price would be 100 USD pp (the whole tour cost 60 USD pp), but then it was "not mandatory" but "we had to take it". Then he dropped the price to 150 USD for the both of us, we kept telling him we did not want to take it nor we had the budget for this ridiculous price he kept insisting until he dropped the price to 20 USD pp. We did not fall into his trap, we used our two feet instead. And this was the "welcoming" to the tour. He scammed us with the "entrance" of one of the queen pyramids, he made us pay 100 LE to enter which we knew it was a scam we just didn't feel it was worth discussing it further. He also tried to scam us with lunch which he insisted it was not included in the price we paid. I had to call the hotel and verify that it was indeed included. The tour had two visits in shops which we were not informed and as we were running out of time we proposed not going to the shops and continue to the sites, but he could "control time" and make sure we visit all the sites without neglecting blaming us for being late and for wanting to take pictures. So spending as much time as we wanted in the shops was okay whereas spending 10 seconds in taking a picture was a big problem. While eating lunch, he finished first and just stood in front of us while we were still eating making us feel extremely uncomfortable. Then we went to Saqqara and Memphis but really I cannot recall ANYTHING from those sites because it was so rushed, the guy was talking as fast as he could and of course we couldn't understand anything at all. We reached Dashur Pyramid literally running because it was 15:57 and the closing time is at 16:00. We gave the keeper a small tip (much smaller than what we paid for the queen pyramid - which is by far smaller) for letting us go inside the pyramid. He kept telling us it was our fault for being late and for spending too much time around the sites taking pictures, but of course, he was not responsible for anything not even when I asked not to visit the shops because we didn't have time, but no, he could control time and take us to all the sites. So what is the point of going if you don't have time to breathe. He completely ruined the experience for us, we were really looking forward visiting those sites and this attitude really left us with a bitter taste. We did not get to enjoy visiting the sites for which Egypt is most famous for. And really the whole experience in this country was painted by failure in most aspects and I wouldn't recommend to any one visiting.
I went to Egypt for the first time and alone. My expectations were good, but I never thought I would be so amazed by a country and its hospitable people. I booked in my hotel Horus all my excursion through Egypt, 5 days I was there and it was there that the adventure began. I did Giza, Luxor and Aswan. Amazing!!! The family that manages the hotel has taken care of everything, has a very complete tour package, professional and at a good price. This package included tour of all temples, guides, driver and food. Well the staff who accompanied me through Egypt, I do not consider them staff but friends were the most hospitable, welcoming people and with a deep knowledge about the whole incredible history of Egypt. They took my experience to another level. I felt really blessed. Thank you all!
I would definitely recommend this private tour! Our day started with an on time pick up at our hotel in a comfortable car with snacks/water. While driving and visiting all the spots, our tour guide told us the history, interesting facts, and took great photos at each of the spots. Our driver was also so courteous by opening the door for us each time and making sure we were comfortable. Delicious lunch with a view of the Giza pyramids. We were also able to add a few stops during the day where we visited a carpet making school and a papyrus store. Overall, a great personalized day and we felt we learned a lot about Egypt that we wouldn’t have without a tour.
Had a fantastic day with amina right from the start she showed so much knowledge of everything we saw. At sakkara she told us about the cat mummies they had recently found she explained alot of the history of the pyramid and funerary complex of djoser and the architect imhotep. The sites were beautiful and the tomb we went in was still in really good condition it was amazing. After sakkara we went to Memphis where there is an absolutely fantastic statue of ramses the great and amina told us about a farmer who got into alot of trouble for digging on his land looking for artifacts and again she also had tons of info on the artifacts that were on display. Next we went to Giza which we were both very excited about and we were not disappointed the pyramids are beyond words they're literally awesome and you can finally understand why there is so much debate and theories on how they were made and again amina shared her vast amount of knowledge with us and took pictures of us in front of them, then we went on to the sphinx and it was so wonderful to finally be in front of it and its beautiful face I was so happy, I already knew the story of how it was found and why it was dug out so I just basked in the moment while amina explained bout it to my fiance and while he was taking pictures me and amina had a chat about the ridiculous theories some people had about the square under the sphinxs ear. When we had finished there we went to lunch at a lovely restaurant called queen Cleopatra where we were greeted by a very friendly man handing out spoons of ice cream which was very tasty the food was in a buffet style and it was really delicious after lunch we were taken back to hotel and on the way there amina was chatting to us and passing on some more info about the places we were passing it was a truly lovely day and we had a great time. I feel I should also mention our driver Ahmed as well he was a lovely and polite man he never kept us waiting when it was time to move on and he was kind enough to go and get us some bottled water when we were in Memphis so I could take some painkillers after smashing my head on the roof of a tomb amina warned us about it but I still did it plus he was kind enough to let me have a cigarette in the car on the way back to the hotel very nice man thank you guys for such a wonderful day really had a good time and I would recommend both of these guys for your tour.
Our tour guide, Said, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and let us tour at our own pace. We like to take family photos and he didn't rush us. The pyramids are a must see.
