The Mazzarosa Winery is one of the most historic wineries in Central Italy, it has been producing wines and oil for 150 years. Its structure, designed by Senator Devincenzi, is unique in its kind and in Italy only one other winery located in Sicily has the same architecture. Inside we still keep one of the largest barrels in Europe, of 1000 hectoliters! We are within a Nature Reserve and our wines are produced with SQNPI certification, that is Sustainable Quality.

Discover the most historic winery in Abruzzo: Mazzarosa Winery, since 1863! After a brief overview of the vineyards and olive groves we cultivate and our history, the tour includes a visit to the cellar and the barrel cellar: here you will learn about the aging methods of our wines and you will have the opportunity to see the largest barrel in Europe, from 1000 hectoliters! Together with our staff you will continue with the tasting: 5 wines that represent the Abruzzo tradition, but always with an eye towards innovation and sustainable quality, accompanied by an aperitif with bruschetta together with our oil, cold cuts and cheeses typical of the area, ending with Abruzzo cantuccini, the perfect pairing with one of the most representative sweet wines of Abruzzo, Vino Cotto. Typical Abruzzese Products, we offer two types of cheese, two types of cured meats and bruschetta Cantuccini Abruzzesi, we offer in combination with our dessert wine "Vino Cotto"

Great way to spend a few hours. The wine tour was short, but the tasting was long. The wines are amazing, as are their olive oils and honey. The tour guide qas wonderful and veey passionate about their products. I would definitely recommend.
Out tour guide was absolutely pleasant and charming, answered all our questionsl Meats and cheeses were tasty along with bread and olive oil. Different wines were explained and served including an apertif so delicious we bought a bottlel Met two other couples from Brazil
It would have been cool to see the vineyards, but the tour was amazing all the same. Thank you for going over the history in English! Would definitely do again, love they have their own apiary and honey for sale.

The selection of wines, cheese and salami was fantastic and the atmosphere very communicative and relaxed. We were a group of 4 people - a good size to have a pleasant conversation. The given address for the meeting point was unfortunately not correct, however we were picked up uncomplicated and arrived in time for the tour.
