This was mainly a private van tour of the city. Limited stops. We did not stop at the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty. For the price of this tour the value is low. Tour guide and driver were very nice however the tour was average at best. I would not do this tour again
I booked a tour with my mother and we had Gary as our tour guide and Boris as our driver. Both were superlative. The staff took what I wanted to see in NYC and designed a plan to see most of it. Gary's knowledge of history and movies of New York was great conversation for the tour and Boris was a perfect gentleman helping ma get in and out of the SUV.
I cannot recommend yellow Moon Tours and Jose our tour guide enough! There were 11 of us visiting New York for a long weekend. We decided on a tour so we would see the most of the city in a short space of time, we were not disappointed. Jose was a fantastic guide showing us his city and his knowledge and enthusiasm was second to none. The amount we fitted in to the entire day was fantastic and the trip to Brooklyn food market was an unexpected but absolute highlight - we would never of discovered this if it wasn't for Jose. His advice for the remainder of our trip gave us confidence to explore the city more. Please do not hesitate to book!
<p>We had our own guide and driver. This meant no waiting around for transport as the car was always ready to pick us up. Our group varied from 13 years old to 80 and our guide, Katie who was super awesome!, paced the day brilliantly. We covered a lot of the main tourist sites and I would recommend this tour as a taster of what New York has on offer. Talking of tasters, we stopped for brisket for lunch and then Cannoli in Little Italy on Katies recommendation, which were delicious and fun. Our guide had excellent knowledge and gave us all a great tour. FYI - if you are a confident driver and think you can self drive a tour around central New York - you can't! Take the tour.</p>
<p>Our Tour Guide was fantastic. He knew more than NY natives who have lived and worked in the City all their lives. We learned so much - really got more than we paid for. Ask for Ramon, the 6ft tall Guatemalan! Speaks 4 languages and is a student of anthropology and archaeology and World History. You can ask him anything and he is also a foodie so get restaurant recs from him too!</p> <p>nuff said!!</p>
