Amboseli is set on the Kenyan plains with Mt Kilimanjaro as a backdrop in the distance, the park is world-famous for its substantial population of African Elephants which can be seen in herds of over 100 individuals. In particular the large bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in the animal kingdom. Also to be spotted are ample herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and impala, as well as giraffes and warthog. With all this variety you can be sure a healthy population of predators also call Amboseli home. Lions, leopards, caracals, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and serval cats are all frequently seen in the park. The tour is suitable for family and children and adventure seekers. It is a private tour.

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence within Nairobi CBD, or from Jomo Kenyatta Airport, at 0500hrs. Depart for Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, catching the African sunrise as you travel through the savanna, dotted with Maasai homesteads and herds of cattle. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, ostriches, and more, with Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. After marveling at the wildlife and stunning scenery, enjoy a buffet lunch at Oltukai Lodge, followed by a short afternoon game drive as you exit the park. Later, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the early evening. This tour is suitable for families and children, with drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or residence.
