Start your wonderful full day tour at 8:00 am right in the lobby of your hotel as you meet your private qualified tour guide, and get on your air conditioned van with WiFi on board and move to see the only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The Great Pyramid of Cheops with its breathtaking dimensions and unrivalled architecture then you will visit the pyramids of his son and grandson, Chephren and Mycerinus, the three of them were constructed between 2500-2400 B. C. and then you will move to the panorama which the highest point of the plateau to take great pictures of the 3 pyramids and also little Queens' pyramids, from the panorama you will start your camel ride in the Sahara desert for 30 minutes . Then you will go to visit the Valley Temple of Chephren and the Great Sphinx.
After that you will have lunch in a local restaurant old Cairo to visit the remains of the Roman fortress of Babylon dating back to the first century A. D. and the famous Hanging Church of Virgin Mary (3rd century A.D.) with its beautiful icons and architecture, the Hanging Church is considered one of the oldest churches in the world, you will also visit the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra (9th century A.D.) and the Greek Orthodox church of St. George. Then you will head to the citadel of Saladin (12th century) that was built to protect Cairo against potential Crusades. Inside the citadel you will visit the
Alabaster Mosque that represents the Ottoman style of architecture and its high minarets dominate the skyline of Cairo. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Our day with our guide Ayoub was beyond what we expected. His knowledge of the history of The Pyramids of Giza was excellent. His detailed knowledge of the Alabaster Mosque was also impressive. What made the tour extra special for us was his detailed knowledge of the Hanging Church. He knew every inch of the church because this was his place of worship. He told my wife and I that when he attends service with his parents he teaches them things they didn’t know about their special church. This was a special point of our tour and our day.
