Positano, Amalfi & Ravello Tour with Optional Boat Ride in Amalfi

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Amalfi Coast Experience This was a great tour from start to finish. Our guide contacted us the evening before with clear instructions on where to meet, which made everything easy and stress-free. Both the guide and driver arrived on time and got us on our way quickly. The tour included time to explore the towns on our own as well as a guided boat excursion along the Amalfi Coast. Both were highlights of the day, with spectacular scenery and countless photo opportunities. We spent about an hour or more at each stop, which gave us enough time to get a feel for each location. Selena was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke excellent English. Our driver was professional and handled the narrow, winding cliffside roads with skill and confidence, making us feel safe throughout the trip. We visited in July, so the weather was quite hot, which we expected. One thing to note is that the tour involves more walking than I anticipated, including hills, inclines, and stairs. Travelers with mobility limitations may find some areas challenging. Overall, this was a very enjoyable tour with beautiful views, excellent organization, and a great team. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is comfortable walking and wants to experience the beauty of the Amalfi Coast.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars! We had a fantastic day visiting Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello. Our driver was outstanding—friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled. The Amalfi Coast roads can be intimidating with their tight curves and steep drop-offs, but he handled them effortlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The vehicle was always cool and comfortable, and we felt completely safe leaving our personal items onboard during our stops. Selena was a delight! Her vibrant Italian humor and warm personality kept everyone smiling throughout the day. Our group of 12 travelers was a fun bunch, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the steep streets and numerous steps, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues. I was also disappointed that we didn't have enough time in Ravello to visit the beautiful gardens, one of the main reasons I chose this tour. Unfortunately, cruise ship schedules limited our time there. The highlight of the day was the boat crew taking photos of couples kissing in front of a legendary rock formation in the sea while a romantic love song played. It was such a fun and memorable moment! Overall, a wonderful experience with great people, breathtaking scenery, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Communication with the company was good & instructions for pick up clear & efficient. Sadly, they cancelled our itinerary 24 hours before but offered a very good alternative which we took. Our guide, Selene, was excellent. Brilliant English, good sense of humour, really good insights & historical facts. Our driver, Hugo, was great too….. he had to be around some of the tight roads, hairpin bends & close passes along the winding roads of the Amalfi coast! Scenery is stunning & no photo will ever do it justice! If you get motion sickness, definitely take a tablet or two, as the winding roads can resemble a rollercoaster ride at times! We also did the optional boat trip which wasn’t long, but gives you a lovely view looking back at the coastline from the sea. It was basically on a large ferry, rather than a more “personal” small boat, but still it was OK (supposed to be €15, but was €20 pp on the day for us due to different vessel or something. Overall, an excellent day. You don’t get very long in each of the 3 stops, so be smart & realistic about what you want to do. At each stop you get between 1-1.5 hours, but all 3 stops require you to walk for 5-15 minutes to get to either the main town square or the beach or whatever, so bear this in mind. We were picked up straight off the cruise ship at 8:10/8:15 & back onboard by 5:30 an hour in advance of sail away. Enjoy!

The coastal drive is very windy. Takes about an hour and a half with no stops. We didn’t get to stop in the places indicated and it was very nice. Angelo was very good driver. He was knowledgeable about the area. I just wished there was a little more history in the narrative. It would’ve been nice also if there were stops along the costal drive for photos. There was a beautiful photo opt on the way back off the coast.

Angelo was very knowledgeable, accommodating, met us right where he said he would meet us before time and very communicative throughout the whole trip. He gave suggestions for food and desert and also took pictures for us if you do this tour you just ask for Angelo.

Franco was an absolute joy. His warmth made us all immediately comfortable. His local knowledge is outstanding. He drives very in a very comfortable manner for all the passengers, and his van was spotless. When we find ourselves in Napoli again, we will absolutely use his services. I happily recommend him to all.

My family and I recently had a wonderful experience as we toured Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. The scenic drive along the coastal line was astonishing, beautiful and awe-inspiring. Davide served as both our tour driver and guide, proving to be an excellent craftsman at both duties. He provided a tremendous amount of background, historical context, and insight related to this coastal region of Italy. His conversation was engaging and knowledge-filled. Despite a well defined itinerary, he was able to show some degree of flexibility and nimbleness to meet the desires of our group. My only criticism (for the lack of a better word) was the flooring space in our tour van was extremely limited thus prohibiting any degree of leg extension. While this minor inconvenience seems insignificant, after a few hours of walking and traveling, it definitely starts to create some stress and strain on the knees. We did this tour as an independent cruise excursion. It was far more intimate, informative and less expensive than what is provided by the cruise line. Since there were only 6 people on my tour (4 of which were apart of my family), we were able to start a little earlier to get ahead of the crowds. We were able to explore all the sites without feeling rushed. In addition, we also did the boat tour (lasting approximately 30 minutes) which gave a unique and memorable perspective of the coastline that could not be appreciated from the road. There was also ample time have a full service lunch in Amalfi with a great view of the city center and activities. We concluded the tour with a visit to a local Limocello store where the adults were able to sample a variety of products in a no-sells pressured environment. All of this was accomplished with at least 1 hour to spare when returning to our cruise ship. Overall, I strongly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a high yield, concise overview of the Amalfi coast.

This was a great way to see and learn about this region in Italy. Our guide Emiliano was amazing. He communicated well before tour on where to meet and was waiting for us when we got off our ship with a sign. He was great about expanding and showing us this region of Italy

If you have the opportunity to tour the Amalfi Coast with Cesare, do not hesitate. From the moment he picked us up at the Port of Naples until he dropped us back off, he made the entire day unforgettable. Cesare is an exceptional driver, which immediately put us at ease on the winding Amalfi Coast roads. Throughout the tour, he shared fascinating information about the area, local history, and culture, along with entertaining stories that kept us engaged the entire time. His sense of humor and friendly personality made the experience feel more like spending the day with a longtime friend than being on a guided tour. He was truly a breath of fresh air and played a huge role in making our visit so memorable. We cannot recommend him highly enough. If we are fortunate enough to return to Italy someday, we will absolutely be requesting Cesare again. Thank you for an incredible day!
