We bet you weren't expecting to visit the fresh produce market on a craft beer tour, but this is the beating heart of the city and a great place to try local craft beer in Porto.
Grab a glass of their home-brewed beer and settle in to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of this craft brewpub, while tasting the iconic Francesinha, Porto’s most beloved sandwich, often jokingly called “a heart attack on a plate.”

Ricardo was incredible — he was knowledgeable and had the perfect balance of history, humor and yummy bites. We did this with our 3 month old and they were very accommodating for kids.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Taste of Porto tour — it gave us a wonderful, broad experience of the city’s food and culture. Fávie, our tour guide, was excellent and clearly well-versed in the region’s history and flavors. We started with pastries that were delicious, then headed to Bolhão Market, where we sampled everything from wine to charcuterie, cheese, and fruit. From there we dove into bifana sandwiches, and topped off the evening at a tapas bar with local favorites. Along the way, we visited several local sights that helped paint a picture of the city’s vibrance and rhythm. The pacing was perfect, and the amount of food and drink was more than enough for the time frame. Highly recommend this tour if you want a true taste of Porto.

My partner and myself had the tour all to ourselves and by the end we had sampled many great beers and great food. Our guide, Angelo, was very knowledgeable and we had great conversations during the evening. We experienced places that we would never have found by ourselves and a very enjoyable time was had by all.
This was an amazing afternoon. Numerous stops explaining the history of the areas paired with great bites and wine. Rita Neves was our guide. She is very knowledgeable of wines and everything Porto. Highly recommend.
