Pompeii is the most famous ancient town in the world that was covered by ashes of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 A.C. and has been captivating archaeologists and visitors from all over the world since excavations began. You’ll see Mt. Vesuvius from a distance, walk through the extensive ruins of Pompeii, and gain knowledge and understanding of everyday life in the ancient times. Entrance tickets are included. After the morning visit to Pompeii, you will drive along the coast to the most important town of Sorrento, where you enjoy rest of your morning seeing the main town which has the most magnificent view of the bay of Naples and enjoy a typical local lunch. The day continues with a drive along the coast of Amalfi to Positano, the most beautiful seaside village of the coast, where you can spend the afternoon shopping, photography and simply strolling the narrow streets of this charming villages before heading back to the port.

Enjoy a bit of "La Dolce Vita" in the heart of Sorrento, where you can pleasantly stroll along the little streets and along the Marinas for a beautiful view of the sea and the quaint fishing boats.
Colorful houses and crystal-clear water will greet you! Enjoy a wonderful Limoncello on the pebbly beach, marvel at the kaleidoscopic colors of the houses and the Wisteria all around, and why not do some shopping in the handmade clothes and shoes the town is famous for.

Amazing experience with this company. Sarah was so prompt and easy to deal with via email in advance, and the drivers were all waiting for us ahead of time. We did 3 private tours: Florence and Pisa from Livorno cruise terminal; Rome from Civitavecchio cruise terminal; and Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast from Naples. All our driver guides were outstanding especially Claudio and Fabio and our guide for the Vatican - Chiara - was amazing and especially so with our 10 year old son. I was really nervous about using a private company in case we were late getting back to the ship but they couldn’t have been more helpful and confident in getting us back in ample time so I could relax. Would highly recommend and would use again.
