Daniela was a wonderful guide, who made the history of Pompeii come alive through her enthusiasm and passion for the subject. She made it interesting for our teenagers as well as the adults in our party. Daniela was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also very warm and lovely to tour with. She reached out the night before our tour with meetups details and when we arrived early, she was kind enough to meet us forty minutes before our appointment was due to begin. Daniela offered us options in terms of what we wanted to see, catering the tour to our group’s needs, and making the experience absolutely perfect.

The tour was brim full of so many fascinating details, I learned far more than I expected to. I found myself having a very emotional reaction to the entire experience, and even cried a few times and embarrassed my teenage daughter! Haha It is 1000% worth booking the private tour rather than a “small” group tour. Alona was wonderful at steering us away from the and made every bit of our experience more intimate so that we could fully absorb what we were learning. Carmine was absolutely fantastic! Despite not being told in advanced, a member of our party had mobility restrictions, but he made adjustments and moved at a great pace. His stories and insights were truly incredible and made Pompeii come to life! This was a dream come true adventure for us all and we were not disappointed! Well worth it!
