Start by exploring one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites — Pompeii — with a real local guide showing you the hidden gems of this ancient city. Then, we’ll take you to a stunning location in the vineyards of Mount Vesuvius, where local food and Vesuvian wine await. After that, hop on horseback for a guided ride through Vesuvius National Park (500 meters above sea level), right by the very volcano that once stopped the ancient Romans in their tracks. Please note: The horseback ride is at a slow pace, it's meant to spend time with animals and admire the views, it's not suitable for those who would like to galop/ride fast

Itinerary
Your day will begin with a visit in the Pompeii ruins, skipping the line into the site. Guided by an archaeologist, you’ll discover excavations and the secrets behind them that only an expert knows. During the tour, you’ll see the history of the town and how the Romans used to live. You will enter in their domus (ancient houses) and public buildings, creating an understanding of how they lived daily life.
Finish the tour and you’ll continue your adventure in the Vesuvius National Park, where you’ll experience being close to nature, far from the city noise, surrounded by the sound of birds. Once you arrive at the ranch after a morning of walking, you’ll have time to relax and have a proper lunch made all by local products with homemade local wine! Then we will saddle up and jump on the horse to receive a little training. Once your comfortable, we will venture off into the park, taking in the sights, sounds and fresh scents of the land. The ride is suitable both for beginners and experts - we will be there to help you! You will receive a training and you'll be guided throughout this exciting excursion.
Get ready to jump on a horse and ride through a beautiful vineyard into the National Park of Mount Vesuvius. Please mind: we'll be around 400/500 meters high above sea level!

Amazing tour of Pompeii, followed by a visit to a vineyard with charcuterie and wine tasting with a view of the bay (including Capri) as well as Vesuvius. Very knowledgeable and descriptive stewards. Wrapped up the tour with a very fun horse ride through vineyards on the side of Vesuvius, very beautiful views. Highly recommended!
This experience was truly unique. We wanted to see Pompeii and Vesuvius but this experience was so much more. We not only got a highlights tour of Pompeii (the site is massive and being able to know what to focus your time and attention on was key) we also had the opportunity to dine under mount vesuvius and ride horses under it. These are the extra touches that make this a truly unique experience. There were so many moving parts to this day I’m so impressed with the level of coordination required by everyone. Executed flawlessly.

We had an amazing day trip from Naples to Pompeii with wine tasting and horseback riding. Everything was organized smoothly from start to finish. Pickup was easy and seamless, and the drivers were professional, friendly, and made the journey comfortable. Our tour guide in Pompeii was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, efficient, and made the experience both engaging and easy to follow. We learned so much while still keeping a great pace through the site. The wine tasting was lovely, with a generous and delicious spread of food. They were also incredibly accommodating with dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated. The horseback riding was such a fun and unique addition to the day. Overall, this was a well-run, memorable experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Naples!
An exceptional day between Pompeii and Vesuvius. Two hours visit to the ruins accompanied by Mena who guided us and explained the history of the site. Followed by a wine tasting lunch in the middle of the vineyard. The splendid view!! But especially the wine and the meal!!! To finish a horseback ride in the vineyard between the sea and Vesuvius. A beautiful day masterfully orchestrated by our driver Giacomo thanks to which everything was organized smoothly. I recommend the experience!!
Our guide in Pompeii was very knowledgable and helpful. The tour was very interesting. We enjoyed our visit to the winery. The lunch was delicious. The wine was very nice. We also rode the horses and being able to see some of the beautiful views from the national forest area while riding was lovely. Rossell, our guide with the horses is very knowledgable and very friendly.
The day started with a 2 hour tour of Pompeii in the morning. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Next we were picked up in a van and were expecting to have lunch and wine tasting next as was advertised in the description of the tour online. We were taken however to the horseback riding portion. The ride was about 40 minutes but with the set up we were there a couple of hours. The scenery was beautiful and the staff friendly. Then we were transported to the wine tasting /lunch about 3 pm. Had we known the order wasn’t as advertised we would have packed water and snacks as the tour started about 9:30. The wine tasting was delicious but “lunch” was more of a snack to go with wine. A cheese plate, a small dish of ravioli and a small slice of dessert. The setting was beautiful and staff was very friendly. It was a slow laid back experience. We were paired with a wonderful family and had a great time with them. Overall a good day however was misled by the schedule of the day online.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the Pompeii ruins. However I felt he actually talked to much and we did not get to see as much of Pompeii as we would have liked to. However, the wine tasting lunch was absolutely fantastic. The wines were delicious and the host was just great! We ended skipping the horse back riding because we were too tired and honestly tipsy after the wine tasting, LOL! I would recommend this tour.
It was an amazing and diverse experience. Daniel provided a thorough and informative tour of Pompeii and you could tell he was very passionate about his homeland. Our driver was energetic and kept the atmosphere light. The food and wine tasting was excellent and I learned a lot about the different kinds of wines. The hostess was very knowledgeable of the food that was presented and clearly proud of what was presented. Bring a horse lover I looked forward to our ride. Our guide, Alex, was patient with everyone and led us through a beautiful vineyard. Rain was on its way so we ended a little sooner than expected but it was still a lovely ride.
