We will pick you up from your hotel in Waikiki, the Cruise Port, or the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and take you to Pearl Harbor for the Arizona Memorial. At Pearl Harbor you will have the opportunity to see the two Pearl Harbor Museums "Road to War" and "Attack". You will have the chance to view the documentary detailing the attack on Pearl Harbor. See the Arizona Memorial. After Pearl Harbor, we will take you on a short drive-through tour of historic Downtown Honolulu. For those being picked up at the Honolulu airport, you will be returned directly to the airport after leaving Pearl Harbor, and the van will continue on to downtown and Waikiki.

The Arizona Memorial is the most visited attraction in the State of Hawaii. This memorial is built over the wreck of the battleship USS Arizona. It stands as a memorial to everyone who died in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. This attack pulled the United States into WWII. The memorial is also a memorial to the 1,177 sailors and marines who died aboard the USS Arizona when a Japanese bomb detonated her ammunition magazine. Representing almost half of the 2,403 US military personnel who died in the attack. The Arizona Memorial spans the wreck of the battleship but does not touch it. National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific is a federal cemetery built in the caldera of an extinct volcano. Known by the locals as Punchbowl Cemetery, the site is the final resting place of American soldiers and veterans of wars ranging from WWI to today. The centerpiece of this cemetery is the memorial to those veterans of wars involving America who are missing in action or were buried at sea. The central figure of this memorial is the statue of Lady Columbia. Below the sculpture is an excerpt from Abraham Lincoln's letter to Mrs. Bixby. Many of those who were killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor are buried in this cemetery, including many whose remains are unidentified.
State Capitol Building ( Pass By ) The Hawaii State Capitol Building was purpose-built to be the seat of power for the State of Hawaii. The State Capitol is a Bauhaus-inspired design with a lot of symbolism built into it. For example, the pillars represent the trunks of Royal Palms which are a Hawaiian symbol of governance. Each pillar represents a Hawaiian Island. The reflection pool represents the ocean that encircles Hawaii. The Capitol Building also houses a statue of Hawaii's Saint Damien.
Iolani Palace ( Pass By ) Commissioned by King David Kalakaua, Iolani palace is the only Royal Palace on American soil. Built in 1879, the palace served as the seat of power for the Kingdom of Hawaii until the overthrow of its last Queen in 1893. The palace then served as the Capitol Building for the Republic of Hawaii, the Territory of Hawaii, and the State of Hawaii until 1969. The palace was opened as a museum in 1978. Restoration work has taken place in the palace to restore it to its glory days as a Royal Palace.
Washington Place ( Pass By ) Was once the home of Hawaii's last monarch Queen Liliuokalani. The home was built in 1847 in the Greek Revival style, similar to many homes in the antebellum South. Washington Place was built by the Dominis family. John Dominis was the husband of Queen Liliuokalani. Upon his death, ownership of the residence passed to her. After the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy, Liliuolkalani lived the rest of her days in this house. After her death, it became the residence of Hawaii's Governors.
Statue of King Kamehameha In front of Aliiolani Hale, the home of the Supreme Court of the State of Hawaii is the golden statue of King Kamehameha the Great. Kamehameha the Great was the man who united the Islands of Hawaii under his rule, becoming Hawaii's first King and the founder of the Kingdom of Hawaii.

We cannot meet guests at Pearl Harbor or any other location outside of the designated pickup areas. If your pickup location is the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, after Pearl Harbor, you will be returned directly to the airport, and the others will continue on to go on a drive through of downtown Honolulu and Waikiki, as the airport is miles before these locations

- No bags of any kind, brand, size, color, or for any reason are allowed to enter the Pearl Harbor visitor center. Please absolutely bring no bags with you. Bags may not be left inside our tour vehicle. If you have a bag, you will need to check them into the visitor center bag storage. This costs money, and you may have to wait in a long line to check in your bags. You may lose a portion of your tour, or your Arizona boat ticket may expire. Please do not bring any bag of any size, color, or brand with you for any purpose. (Clear see-through bags are permitted)
- We do not carry nor do we have space for luggage of any kind. It will not fit in the vehicle.
- Tour and ticket times may change based on traffic, federal government regulations, or new Pearl Harbor restrictions. While tickets are included in all of our Pearl Harbor tours, there are a few times a year there are situations that arise when tickets are not available to us. In this case, we will use the standby procedure by NPS ( National Park Service ) will be used. In addition, there are times when the tickets appropriate to the listed pickup time are not available, and instead, the Arizona memorial tickets are for different times. By booking this tour, you are confirming and you agree that we reserve the right to change the pickup times to fit with the available tickets (earlier or later) on a given day. The U.S. Navy has the right to cancel the Arizona Memorial shuttle boat at any time for public safety reasons. However, we have no control over the U.S. navy or other organizations in charge. Ford Island is part of the active military base, Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam, and the U.S. Government has the right to restrict access to Ford Island without notice. This is beyond our control, and we follow the federal agency's rules.

The actual trip and our guide was very enjoyable. The only issue I have is with communication with the tour operator before hand. This was none existent until we had to call Viator as we weren’t given pick up details.

Apparently they don’t tell you guys that you have to wait anywhere between 730 and 8 AM to get picked up. So after waiting 20 minutes I called and the guy wouldn’t give me an estimated ETA until I pressured him. The guy then says I only have four people and I’m like no I’m on a different reservation. He talked in the van, but he couldn’t really hear him. He said why the headphones in the back but I couldn’t understand him when I was just right behind him. We get to Pearl Harbor and he tells us that we have to return to the van in two hours. I’m like does that give us enough time? He said yeah. I said I think I’ll take an Uber or Lyft home. We ended up fitting four hours there as we did the submarine and in order to see the move two movies and do everything it took four hours we did not eat. He actually called me and I ignored the call cause I thought it was spam, but I had told him we weren’t going to go home two hours is not enough for this so plan ahead.

The pickup information provided by text message to all guests clearly states that pickup will occur between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM. That stated pickup window is the arrival time range for the driver. Providing a more specific arrival time within that window would not be accurate, as traffic and other operational factors can affect the exact arrival minute. Regarding the tour narration and briefing, the driver advised that important information about the day’s schedule and timing was covered during the drive to Pearl Harbor and at the briefing area at the Visitor Center. Guests are encouraged to pay close attention to these briefings, as they explain what is included in the tour and how much time is allocated at each location. This tour is designed around the USS Arizona Memorial and Visitor Center experience. The USS Bowfin Submarine, additional museums, and other optional attractions are not included in the tour package and are not part of the scheduled itinerary. The time provided at Pearl Harbor (2 hours) is sufficient for the attractions included with the tour, which was the USS Arizona Memorial and Visitor Center. Choosing on your own to add optional attractions that are not part of the tour will naturally require additional time beyond what has been scheduled. It is therefore not reasonable to choose to participate in activities outside the tour itinerary and then conclude that the included itinerary does not provide enough time. The schedule for this tour has been used successfully by thousands of visitors over many years and provides adequate time to experience the attractions that are included in the package purchased. Once again, thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
Convenient option to avoid parking issues. Plenty of time allowed for seeing Pearl Harbor, and a few bonus drive-bys on the way back to the hotel. Our tour guide VANESSA was fantastic. She shared a lot of really interesting information and kept us entertained along the way.
